I made two bets tonight:

Manhattan and the Mavericks. Beat the closer by 20+ cents in both instances. Both bets weren't even close.

I'm glad I waited to try to catch a live line in the Dallas game because I was about to drop multiple units on them.

At no point did I ever feel like Dallas had a chance so I never placed a bet.

Friday's are brutal. Line movements don't mean jack. I have a theory that there is a lot more recreational gambling on Fridays which explains the moves that are meaningless. Who knows.

I've never been able to win on Fridays. Just seems like a total clusterfvck.

I'm playing everything you are except for Indi. Just curious, why is everyone so high on Indi today? I think Utah matches up well with them, and Utah plays well at home.

Why does Portland always have fourth-quarter magic when I fade them at the Rose Garden, but when I bet on them they collapse every time? This goddam team was up 13 late in the third quarter and now they're down 7 and absolutely imploding.

I had the Blazers, and I'm sorry, but that had no business cashing. They were down 100-91 with two minutes left, and then all of a sudden, the Clippers act like they've never handled a ball before and somehow the line magically ends up right at where it closes.

0-7 in my last seven plays of 5U or more (four of them 10U or more). Three lost in OT, and the other four were either winning at half or lost by one possession at the end. It's been uncanny.

The smart thing to do today would be to bet the Celtics. If they win, call it a day on these "prime time" games -- if they lose, double up on the Lakers.

I just don't know if I have the stomach to take either, though.

I got absolutely burnt by the worst beat of the NBA season (extremely hard to do) in the Celtics leading by 27 only to lose by 12 in double OT!!

With that said, I am on the Celtics ML+150 today...........
