In the interest of a little extra action on the home dogs tonight, and taking advantage of 5Dimes allowing you to buy an obscene amount of points in parlays:
5 teamer: SDSU +14.5 / Lions +17.5 / Wolves +13 / Mavs +13 / Blazers +13 (+102)
Just a token amount on this one, for fun, but with a larger weekend card, it seems like it's pretty simple to assemble ~5 team parlays that pay out around even money and offer a huge ATS edge on the individual lines. I'm trying to discredit the idea to myself that this is a long term winning strategy, small risk per play, but a winner over the course of the collective 8 months of NFL/NBA betting on these fairly efficient markets.Comment -

Under normal circumstances, my only rule for bigger parlays is to isolate the last event (sometimes the last 2), ideally using a big ML fave, so I can easily hedge out if i choose, on payouts in the range of 60-1 to 200-1. These worked out great in NCAAF this year.Originally posted by bleedtoledo
