Yeah, I still wonder why I bet the NBA.

I lose so many bets by 1 or .5. It's sick. The worst is that the teams usually play horrible where as I only needed 1 more hoop to win and it still doesn't come.

Suns had 91 points with 5:35 left and scored 6 the rest of the way against the vaunted Raptors D.

And it's not like Toronto has a great history of closing out games in the fourth quarter.

I've had unders in which 30 points were scored in the final 4 minutes to beat me by 1.

I've had overs that looked like locks and then there is like 12 points scored in the final 6 minutes. I think Milwaukee did that to me last year when they decided to not score the final 6 minutes of the game against Orlando and I lost by 1. That SUCKED!!!!!

We no the NBA is shady as hell but we can't stop betting it.

Isn't it amazing how the # always seems to be so "sharp" -- no matter how off it looks at a given point during the game?

I used that to my advantage in the GS/DEN game last night. The Nuggets were an absolute offensive juggernaut for the first two and a half quarters, then they looked like they were playing blindfolded the rest of the way for no real reason whatsoever. TNT was touting GS's sudden "commitment to defense." LOL.

I hit the 2H TT under magically by a bucket.

Yeah. The one year I did really well in the NBA it was on a lot of live bets I placed. 15-20 points lead don't mean anything and if you have the over and they score 65 points in the first quarter you'll still sweat it out and still lose.

Utah looks obvious.

I had Detroit/Cleveland under 96 first half. It looked great when the total was sitting at 86 with exactly one minute left. Then the teams proceed to drain 4 straight shots including a three ball.

Thank god I still won by 1 point. Why do teams always seem to score 12-15 points in the final minute and change of a the half? It drives me nuts betting the NBA.

I've always noticed that too. Makes you wonder....

I'd take Utah, but every time I fade the Clip Joint, they explode. I'll just stay on the sidelines for that as I watch the Bobcats blow another bet that looks good at half then falls apart.

Is it just me or have the lines been very soft this year? Bets like the Clippers as a short fave on the road keep cashing left and right it seems like.

The Bobcats were -1.5 at my book. Watch them get outscored by 7 in the 4th and lose by exactly 2. It will probably be a three ball in the final seconds.
