Im extremely nervous about this game simply because the Pacers who were incredible in the playoffs last season have been faltering so far, I feel like the Pacers unit as a whole could turn a corner here with a blow out win at home. I'm really confident about Paul George having a big one here, guy is an athletic freak and reminds me of LeBron some times as far as physical ability is concerend. He should eat the Raptors alive coming off that big triple OT, I would be really disappointed if he doesn't have a huge impact on this game.
I do have a few thoughts on Portland as a team in general, I think their bench is horrible and out of all the 'good' or rated teams it's up there as one of the worst but their starting 5 is solid - Lillard brings a lot to the team and adds another 3 point threat which the Portland starting 5 is loaded with - they need to trade for a good swing man. Thing with Portland is if their starting 5 are hot they can win you covers but you need them to get a lead because when that second unit comes on they could lose to anyone. Kings were horrible against the Lakers without Cousins, Isiah will have a tough time guarding Lillard who is taller and very active offensively. Aldridge will have a day out as no big on the Kings can guard him simply because he stretches the floor too much with his range. What I don't like is the line, it's dodgy it says a lot about what the bookies think of Portland. Kings without Cousins are still -2.5 favourites. The public is all over Portland as well, this is something I take into consider - I currently have two plays down that are both favoured by the public, sure I could take the Blazers and go 3-0 and the public rolls but adding my doubt about the Portland bench and playing away adds up and allows me to make an easy pass.
I feel like the public might roll today though, i see the bobcats as the only public play losing today.
