in these tourney with his 7.2" frame. The Chinese will double him for sure, but he will go to the line & make them pay.

The final has me going round in the circles, at first I was leaning towards Brumbies because I'm a huge Jake White fan. However the more I think about the more I start to question if the brumbies really are that good, they barely beat the Cheetahs at home and they beat an out of form/injury riddled bulls team(still credit to them for doing that over there) but the travel is going to catch them no matter what preparations they've taken, they were getting absolutely mauled in the last 20 minutes of that bulls game and only the bulls turning down 3 shots at goal saved them(again credit to the brumbies they hung in there and didnt give up)

The Chiefs beat the form team last week in the Crusaders and I think I've undervalued just how good that is. That Saders team was one of the most dangerous teams I've ever seen.

Taken a pretty solid wager on Chiefs -8.5, banking on the brumbies falling apart late in the game again.

Honestly when I think about it the Brumbies only impressive victory of the year was beating the bulls at loftus, and maybe the sharks at shark park but the sharks were pretty mud this year.

It was $1.27 Chiefs, $3.50 Brumbies, but they had all sort of write-ups on their website about how the Brumbies had no chance etc., and how someone bet $10k on Chiefs ML.

The NZ TAB are pretty blatant in that regard.

Having an insane weekend so far with Chiefs 1-12 coming through, also landed a 5 leg multi.

On Freo 1-24 tonight

not much yet Oz, lines are very sharp, won't have much time to review all the games because Im heading out for the night. If I do get time later on I will have a deeper look. Chances are Ill get drunk tonight, come home and do some horrible WNBA picks and go all in on Western Bulldogs ML tomorrow.

is good, Iran won by 20 points

coming up Taipei vs Philippines, this one interesting: the Philippine is a solid team with 2-0 record, players are from their professional league with excellent depth of shooters like Jeff chan.

Taipei is too with 2-0 record, another team with players can score in variety ways, excellent shooters; two American neutralize on their roster whom are good enough for a d-league starters.

It had been a rivalry match between these two team before.
2 games in a row Taipei shot around 50% FG against Jordan & Saudi Arabia, but this very unlikely to happen
again vs the Philippines which would allowed only average 68 ppg.

I am seeing a 75-70 type of game here.

With this matchup I am lean toward under 151.5

I got the feeling you decided to bet Souths just because they were the favourites. Bet like that, and you'll always end up donating to the bookies.

Work out what sports/competitions you are strong on, and only delve into other sports if you've either done the research required, or have someone whose advice you trust.

We've all been there davo. I've told this story before but years ago when I first started betting on sports I built up my account to $20k. Thought I was gifted, some kind of gambling prodigy. I then lost it all over a couple of months. When it was all gone and the reality hit me it was tough. Every morning I'd wake up and feel sick in my stomach. Took a break and the pain went away each day. I was able to think it through and found that failing to control my greed was the pivotal factor. First it was $10k then I'll stop, then $15k, then $20k. But it was all bullsh#t, would just kept going and lost it all eventually. My advice is to find something that keeps you level headed and shuts down that voice in your head that says "just one more bet and then I'll stop for the day, the extra cash would be nice and it's house money so it's ok to risk it."

For me the famous quote from the movie Casino works. It's stuck on my fridge:

"In the casino, the cardinal rule is to keep them playing and to keep them coming back. The longer they play, the more they lose, and in the end, we get it all."
