Not that I can say I know the answer, but my hunch is its the hot weather. Looks at the weekends they have been doing well, it has always been in cool conditions.

Latest forecast were saying the thunderstorms look like missing at this stage. maybe light rain at worst. But should still be warm, so not sure if they will get an advantage tomorrow...

Didn't realise until a few minutes ago either! Also, GP2 race in 20mins, then GP3 after that.

Hamilton has been a great driver to bet against this year. He might win with the pole position but I ain't takin those odds.

Yeah way too short for Hamilton now. No value at current odds.

i took Raikkonen for Fastest Lap of the race....(+575)

probably all ill play on F1 this week seeing as the chances of any1 else winning are very unlikely, and no way in hell ill bet any winner at -115..thats just things i hear.from what u guys say, not like i have a clue

i still wanted a rooting interest in the race

EVen Kimi for fast lap is under the odds really.

Will be on that with you though Mike.

Waiting until close to race time so I know what the weather will be for sure.

I was thinking Webber is a good punt for fastest lap this time, he is starting mid grid and will need to push right to the end.

I'm not liking much for the race. I think I will just sit on my Lewis Podium bet.

Weather forecast is still up in the air, i'll be watching twitter and support races to try and work out how it will pan out...

With choice of starting tyres there is a chance he will be on newer/softer shoes at the end compared to others as well. Worth thought for sure.

Always two races for each of them.

Race 1 is always after F1 Qualy on Saturdays. Race 2 is always before F1 race on Sundays.

Going off GP2 live timing screen, Air Temp is at 26 degrees and gone up only a degree in the last hour. Track temp at 36 degrees and gone up sharply from 30 degrees in the last hour. Looks quite hot, but I think rain could still hit again by the sounds.

Tweet from Martin Brundle just a few minutes ago:

Teams are expecting heavy rain in race. Last F1 race for 5 weekends so don't miss it live on SkyF1! You can catch up on the Olympics later

I'm contemplating taking Safety Car bet on the gamble that heavy rain will come at some stage. Still can't make up my mind though.

Did you see GP3 race? Wet/Dry race, some trying to survive on wets others trying to catch on drys. It was amazing stuff!

I can get SC bet for $2.45 at 5d, which is good value I think. Might be worth a go but going to wait until as late as possible to decide.

Yeah, GP3 cars don't sound too sexy, not much power like a FF, but hey, low power usually means good/close racing.

Shaun, once those tyres started to fade in that GP2 race, i noticed passing was a lot easier for them. Hopefully we get some of that for f1. That Trummer crash was pretty crazy, good to see he still beat the guy who shunted him over the finish line.

But if rain arrives, McLaren has been struggling in the wet. If it is a fully dry race, it is very unlikely we see an SC. I have a feeling it now most likely stays dry throughout, but rain might come late in the race.
