ITS TIME FOR THE BUD-SHOOTOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its finally here guys!!!! feels like its been 4ever already!!!!im ready to start racking up the $$ early again this year!!! maybe not the "real" start of the season but ill take it!!! even though these exibitions and plate tracks are mostly blind luck, this year is even i little more challenging...there ALOT of new plate changes and rules, more team and driver changes than usual, so alot of things are going to look a little different for speed weeks and the 500 this year, especially wanting to see how the tandem racing is going to play out...no driver/spotter communication between teams going to be extra dangerous imo.....odds are posted out on 5dimes as of this morning also

the race: SATURDAY night 8pm on FOX..........(All times are EST)

practices: FRIDAY 5pm and 6:30pm SPEED channel

*****ALSO THERE WILL BE 2 SESSIONS OF DAYTONS 500 PRACTICE ON SATURDAY AT 11AM AND 2PM ON SATURDAY BOTH AIRING ON SPEED CHANNEL


any comments, suggestions, rumors, ect. are always welcome on this thread every week and race of the entire season...the more we share the better chances we all win imo....i always treat speed weeks as warm-up for the actual season and to get tuned in and back in the groove, and dont even usually count shootout, or the gatorade duels towards actal season records, but i still use the same system i always do and sadly probably the same dollars on each race, as i cant help it im just tooo damn excited!!!!

now lets get ready for the 2012 season guys!!!!

Had another incredible year of prophit in 2011,and im ready to have my biggest season ever in 2012!!!!!

I havent bet anything quite yet, as i dont see most of these early odds doing anything besides dropping, especially the longshots, but im sure ill start adding in next day or 2

nice big multi-car crash in P1 for shoout...and im glad i havent bet yet cause the changes nascar implemented for plate track are definatley having an effect

going through pre-track inspec., they found a modification to the rear 1/4 panel...

nothing major they just replaced it, but chad may get a penalty or something later on

just so everyone knows the race format for tonights bud shootout....

there are 2 segements...25 laps and 50 laps, with a 10 min. pitstop in between segments...total of 187.5 miles

I wonder if the good raw Ford speed will be helpful in the shootout?

Haven't watched much yet so maybe it means nothing that it's mostly Fords in top 10 speed on track right now, but the first Ford comes in 10th fave in the odds?

havent finished my line-up...but this race is a crap shoot no matter how u look at it,...most teams are really trying setups out and things for the 500.. but i dont put in same time and i just dont bet it the same way as i do the "regular" races...probably still have a good bit on it though, i just cant help it

ill use the same formula and system i will during the season, just only put in half the time on legwork and research that i usually do every week during ther season, just because too many wierd factors being 75 laps and non-points....i easily put in 25- 30 hours a week in my notebooks,watching previous yrs race on whatever track it is, and pluggin numbers during the season..these guys just warming up for next week

i just cant wait to see these cars under the lights tonight and get 2012 kicked off

I probably spend 15+ hours per week reading stuff and watching broadcasts, and people call me anti-social over that much.

i work it like a job..... and ur 15+ isnt a small amount either!!!!.....also includes a few hours of previous races on that weeks track...and its a great tool becuase sometimes u forget who dominated or maybe should have won the race last 3-4 races...its a decent tool for me anyways

i do well lets just say that

sure didnt when i started 10 years ago thats for sure.took me over 1/2 to get my system tweaked..it took me years to start making great money...but i wager alot too, and have prophit drivers and drivers just to cover all my wagers...always bet a match-up parlay as well, but thats just for fun, and usually bet underdogs in those H2H matchups..those give me something else to route for

nothing more exciting than nascar wagering IMO

I raced against him several years ago, well before he was a star. I wouldnt touch him for the win though, he has pretty bad luck on the plate tracks.

I'm going to stay off the win results for this race but might take a couple H2H's. Anyone jumping on any of the H2H matchups and any thoughts? I havent seen too much of the practice sessions and feel like im not in the groove yet on who is good and who is not.
