Biffle is a good pick as well. Lets see how he does in qualifying. Think you have to start in the top 10 here to win. Track position is too important at the road courses.

He's still +5000 on most of the books I watch. I guess with 6 drivers under +1000 this week the fringe drivers are unloved no matter how well they practice.

Interesting stat from practice. The EGR team mates, Montoya and McMurray, were the only drivers to rank higher for average than top speed in both sessions.

They were 2nd & 8th quick and 1st & 3rd by avg speed in P2, respectively.

I never know what to expect with Jamie. One week they are top 5, and the next they are out to lunch in 23rd. Ambrose is the favorite no doubt, but I just don't get all the Stewart love. Especially at such low odds. Is everyone aware Tony hasn't won a race since last year?

Could Tony win, sure. But is he overvalued? that is a definite yes.

As an Aussie, I can't bear to bet against Ambrose here, but my gut isn't telling me good things.

Agree fully about Smoke being well under valued. I'm still too scared to lay against him though.

(might do that with JG this week though)

I keep coming back to #18, #42 and #11. My gut does anyway.

He drove smart as well as with class.

I'm surprised Ambrose's race craft and on the fly tactical thinking aren't better. Not that I blame that totally for his third, but maybe driving the car more under the limit when he could of during the race would have seen him fighting Montoya, or keeping ahead of Kurt at the end.

Coming in as a fan of his from V8s especially, where closing out the win, or making that impossible pass to steal it late was his trademark.

Nice win by Montoya, and congrats to all that picked him. Really impressed by Ambrose too. He had half the horsepower Juan Pablo had, and challenged him most of the race.

Had a biggie parlay to win if Hamlin came in 10th or better, but Johnson got in the way. That's two weekends in a row J.J. you've knocked my bet!

On to Michigan. Historically this has been a pretty fair track to cap. Let's get'em back.
