I layed Smoke +640, and am trying to lay Kyle, Kurt, Montoya and Denny. If I can get matched on Betfair.

Think I need to open another bookmaker account or two. Would like to make a top 5 bet on Harvick if I could.

Ok, what happen? I seen Ambrose was winning with about 10 to go then all of a sudden Jimmie was up there with 3 to go.

Ambrose stalled car while turning it off and on under caution to save fuel. Didn't maintain pace so he restarted 7th, lost 6 spots

Cost him the win. He easily had the best car with plenty, PLENTY of fuel. Fvcking moron.

ambrose and crew chief both should know the ****ing rules. just like in basketball winning by one at end of game and someone calles a timeout and does not have one.

with 15 to go was hoping no cautions and had 2, was still leading after 1st one knew if we had another caution somehow would lose.

1st time I have seen anyone lose 6 spots on a caution with anyone pitting.

mostly just play matchups and ambrose to win was my only to win bet all year; know now why I just play matchups.

I still can't believe he threw that away.

He's starting to look like a sure bet to choke on any road course.

2 starts in Mexico, looked fastest all weekend both times, choked in quali
both times, and second year drove Said and a bunch of others off the track
trying to make up for a pit strategy error. Never led a lap there.

3 starts in Montreal. Looked dominant enough to win each time. Robby punts
him off from the lead year 1, he throws away the race by speeding in pit
lane year 2, and choked on the last corner after dominating from pole and
Edwards takes the win away last year.

3 Nationwide starts at Watkins Glen for 2 wins, but errors in qualifying
every start means he has never claimed a pole.

                              2 Cup starts at Watkins for a 3rd and 2nd. Year 1 he started 43rd after a
practice accident and last year he cocked up the qualifying lap to start
4th, then the team screwed up the race strategy, before Smoke just out drove
him for the win at the end.

3 Starts at Sonoma. Year 1 qualified the #21 well but got mixed up in
several race collisions before breaking the gearbox. This year and last year
he looked a lock for qualifying and the race all weekend, but came up with
                              similar end results both times.

13 starts where he has looked as capable of winning as he did at Sonoma most
of the time, for just 2 trophys.

I'm a fan of his, but can't help but say choker. :\

Poor guy though, I do feel bad for him. Why turn off the car when youre going up the hill though why not wait till you are going down it? Seems like common sense there....

Ha funny. I still think Johnson wins the championship. He won at Bristol and then at Infineon, two tracks he has never won at plus he doesn't usually turn it on till later in the summer. Harvick and Hamlin might give him a run for his money though

I wouldn't be surprised to see Gordon give him a run for it too. he's been slowly but constantly looking better all season I think.

Peaking at chase time is the key.

And he needs wins badly. Of course the way he raced last week it may not come this week if Truex has a say.

Both Gordon and Burton should have at least scored one win this year already.

What's the etiquette about new race threads around here?

Are we supposed to wait for onlooker to start one for Loudon?

I do. But he usually already has. I'm sure he or anybody else won't mind you starting your own.
