Congrats.
Do you have a source for best 5 or 10 lap averages or just use the overall avg that nascar.com or jayski publishes?

Also, welcome to SBR and to the NASCAR bunch. We are small but sweet.
I didn't misunderstand anything, I don't think .
What I was saying was that Sam Hornish at anything less than 60:1 would be ridiculous. Especially when you could snag Stewart for ~+2850.
Though I shouldn't say too much as I completely whiffed this past weekend.
BUT, I get to go to Road America this weekend for the inaugural Busch race there!

I agree the 5 or 10 lap average times are probably a really good indicator, but I haven't bothered trying to factor in the overall average times in my system as I suspect they are too unreliable to compare, as the more runs a driver does, the more in/out laps he does, taking his average down.

Thanks guys. Didn't realize they had so much info on that site. Can't see any 5 or 10 lap averages for practice sessions still though. :\
I love the road courses, and the ringers. I'd like to be at Road America too this week.

Had this site bookmarked for years. Didn't know they changed the name.

They not only need to keep them but add one more. Needs to be one in the chase. They also need to add 2 dirt tracks to the season.

You're absolutely correct.
I'd love to see four road courses during the year. I've thought about how cool it would be to add dirt to the schedule, but with the field sizes I don't see how that could ever work. Not to mention how expensive it would be to teams.

Probably why they don't do it. Love to watch these racers go crazy on dirt.
