Totally disagree with you that 5dimes has the right rules.

Prior to 2019, Ross Chastain would have been notified on Tuesday or Wednesday that his car was illegal and his win was being stripped. That’s it. There would be no elevation of the 2^nd place car Moffitt being declared winner. In the record books it would still show Ross Chastain as the winner.

But for 2019 that is not the case. In the record books it shows Brett Moffitt as the winner. He is the official race winner. All 5dimes has to do is wait 60 minutes from the time the race is over to grade these bets. They are using antiquated rules.

Irs not just dimes with the rule its majority of books using same rulethis year. Even Draftkings also uses same rules for fantasy and sportsbook. Bovada regraded it bit havent heard of any other place doing it

Would be just a big a mess since hes appealing the ruling if he wins the appeal and gets the win reinstated.

fan duel graded Moffitt. When I was at Dover I cashed Sauter. Couldnt cash ticket till post inspection was clear. I think they use William Hill.

This will 100% happen again and next time it will be a cup race. That will wake everyone up.

Good point about the record book being changed, but still think the result at race end is the "cleanest" solution.

Yeah if he wins the appeal I have no idea. But the odds of any appeal ever working is like 0.001%. Not just in Nascar but I think back to baseball. The games are always put under protest but never works. Kind of the same deal.

What I think is the issue with dimes is that they never updated their rules to reflect the 2019 changes. and that wouldnt surprise me. Prior to 2019 Chastain is the winner 100%.

Which books do you know that made rule changes to fit this years NASCAR rules?

We talked about this months ago and predicted all books but 5Dimes would be in tiz the first time it happened.



I hope Chastain wins the appeal to force more books to set a firm long term rule for us. Or the only place we will ever be sure about the grading not being changed later is 5D
