That’s it for me today. Betting pretty light all weekend. .25 or .50 unit plays. Hoping to catch lightning in a bottle on one of the long shots.
Good luck everyone!
Good way to start the season! Was really rooting for McDowell but I’ll definitely take the W.

McDowell from Catchfence article..
Former Daytona 500 champion Joey Logano wanted a push from McDowell to help shove him in contention for his second win at the 2.5-mile superspeedway, but McDowell said he was racing hard for his team to win the series’ Super Bowl event and was unsure if damage Logano had received late in the race would affect their finish.“I would have loved to work with Joey, but he was moving left to right,” he added. “The 18 had a big run, a lot of momentum and Joey had a lot of damage. The back of his car was completely smashed, no rear bumper, a parachute hanging out of it. “Joey wasn’t gonna win the race. I wanted to put myself in the best spot to win the race and the Fords weren’t that friendly to me this weekend.” Logano confronted McDowell after the race on pit road, where McDowell stood his ground. “I just told him that my team doesn’t pay me to push Joey Logano to a win,” McDowell said. “That’s not what I get paid to do. At 200 miles an hour, I made a split-second decision on what was the fastest car and who had the best shot of winning the race and that’s where I went.”

Brush it off mate.
We only get a good start to the season on the 500 about once every 3 years.
A few sweet capping races coming. (although not sure about this pack racing comment)

Love McD.
Of course the guy holds his ground.
If he was a puss he would have ripped back into Logano for expecting anything from him after other Ford backed teams seemed to have zero interest in helping the Front Row cars all day!
