Took Bottas -110 over Hamilton in F1 as 2nd leg of a parlay that I will hopefully close with Harvick. Hamilton has to serve a 5 place grid penalty and will be starting 9th to Bottas' 3rd. Bottas was slightly quicker in practice and qualifying and there is value here considering Bottas is -150 to Hamilton's +125 podium odds.

Like your thinking re the bet value there. I don't trust Merc with their tire troubles though. They could sacrifice Bottas on an inferior strategy trying to do something innovative to catch the race pace of Ferrari and Red Bull.

Ricciardo the dark horse to win at good odds I think.

Kimi also value to win. Apart from Q3 he has looked better than Seb in most of the other 6 sessions so far this year.

i'm new to nascar, but if someone like larson who was supposed to be starting 10th falls back to last because of whatever reason, should people be betting AGAINST larson on most h2h matchups since it would +EV (if the book is slow to change the odds)?

Not that big of a deal on any intermediate track. Jimmy won here from the back last year. Fast cars always find their way up front and most of the time by the end of stage 1
