Alright fellas after a relaxing off week, (much needed) we are back to action this weekend from TEXAS motor speedway...The Xfinity series will be back in action this Saturday and the Cup series will be on Sunday afternoon as usual...The truck series is still on hiatus and wont return for about a month still


**TEXAS motor speedway was completely resurfaced and reconfigured after the 2016 Cup season, so there have only been 2 races run on this racetrack...so as far as capping the race, this is very important imo with only 2 races run on this new surface..The Banking into the turns was lowered from 24 to 20 degrees and the racetrack was widened from 60 ft to 80 ft, which in total does make a significant difference...

I am sure the opening odds will be brutal again for the 2-3 guys that have shined on the intermediates early this season, but maybe I will be surprised when they post...but doubtful...watched last seasons races from here yesterday and filled in a few notes in my books on match-ups and race runs so just waiting on odds to post now
