The racetrack was repaved in 2012, and tire wear has been very very light ever since. This has proven to be a very tough track to pass at with low tire wear throughout the runs. Goodyear is bringing a new tire this year so there are some unknowns this time. In recent races, qualifiers in the top 10 have been finishing there as well, with 6 of the top 10 qualifiers also finishing top 10 in the last 3 races at Kansas.

There was also tire test in October of last year at Kansas with the new tire compound they will be using this weekend.

honestly not sure either way. Doubtful I will take him early unless his # is too good to pass up on. Wouldn't knock anybody for taking him though. Just Gibbs has been so mediocre with this new aero package on intermediate racetracks it's a tough call, but several of them are pretty good here so maybe they finally figure it out this week.

On a side note: Larson hasn't finished worse than 2nd on any intermediate racetrack this season. Wow. But he hasn't been historically very good at Kansas, but also I'm not sure it even matters anymore about his past data. Lol

Agree past data not that important for Larson right now.

And thinking of taking him.

And yeah, my faith in JGR is lowish at the moment too.

Kyle B has finished top 5 here the last 4 races, BUT JGR only has 1 COMBINED top 5 finish at 1.5 racetracks this season, and that was Kennseth. Considering he will be under 10-1 the early odds are just not worth it to me. But that's just my thinking

Even though I am not welcome here, I like to participate to be a part of the NASCAR community Mikey5s which is why I always post to your thread. You, me and Optional are really the only ones here that like talking NASCAR.

Here are some numbers for you Mikey5s:Harvick has finished the last three spring races at Kansas in second place. He won at the track last October. Harvick has a series-best 122.7 driver rating and the second-best average finishing position (5.25) in the last four races at Kansas.

Here are some interesting numbers. My thread has a total of 1,160 views in four races. There are only 20 total on this forum maximum and you are all boring and dumb as hell so that means each of you are reading my posts 15 times each per week. ScumDaddy can barely read so he is not reading this bullshit because there are too many big words but you make up for it. Yours are obviously much higher. Have you tried that ignore button yet?

I've got a new thread for you this week, try not to read it so many times.

Whats the temp difference between afternoon and evening in Kansas this time of year?

Guess it doesnt matter. The bigger the the diff the better, as it might give us a longshot or two worth taking.

Honestly not sure about the diff but normally would think its significant from hottest and sunny part of the day to nighttime. But haven't honestly checked on it. 1 Less practice again too. Which I think is something NASCAR should be considering all the time.

You're probably right. I assume the amount of practice is a throw back to when teams and cars werent so professional and lots of them needed time to just get a workable setup whilst multi car teams are only ever working on fine tuning these days.

I do like a bit of Friday action though and Cup cars on track probably still help bring people to Truck races

Should have just tailed Bell and not thought so much about it. He will be +200 or worse when the odds come back up now.

And Crafton wont be much better.

Thanks! got pretty lucky on those early grabs for sure. Bell was 3-1 before Q and crafton 4-1. Probably get worse u are right. Still just planning on open parking Kyle probably and picking another h2h to go with bell>peters in that open parlay.
