Charlotte - All Star Race

The Saturday night feature will include three 20-lap segments with the option of pit stops between segments. Drivers will then run another 20-lap segment, followed by a mandatory four-tire stop. They’ll begin the final 10-lap segment -- with $1 million to the winner -- based on how they leave pit road after their mandatory stop. The final 10 laps or any green-white-checkered overtime period will determine the race winner

Ya know..all things considered the field is a very good bet..no matter who advances you have 3 drivers out of 21. A 10 lap shootout with a 4 tire stop can cause some problems. Kinda leaves bowyer out since his crew has sucked all year. But one time..maybe

no. im going back to nascar talk only. i got caught up in the "vinnys and idiot" talk. and i think we all would agree that this is not what the forum is about.

i publicy apoligize to everyone i offended in the past 6 months. i take full responsiblity for my words and hatefull posts. i hope we do meet when im in vegas, so that i can say my apoligy to your face.

Obviously starting in slot 1 at Martinsville is huge. Drivers likely to go down a lap is good. Still not sure exactly how to factor the stall. What do you look at on Pit Stalls?

Don't really look at pit stall locations but for this race it may be key as a mandatory pit stop after the last 20 lap segment

really dont like this formatt. however, i do beleive the pole and the first stall will be huge as the teams at that end can gauge what others do for the first segments as for tires. the last stop with 4 tires leads to the best option for that pit as well. i think we see no stops or 2 tires after the first segment 4 tires after 2nd, then stay out or 2 tires on third (although didnt work at all for bowyer last year)

short list for me is harvick, joey, brad and klye as they have had by far the best short run cars on the mile and halfs this year. gordons car wont make speed in 10 laps and his restarts have sucked all year. also feel that croney has a great insight in the field bet as bowyer or larson (assume they get in) or anyone for that matter, will quailfy with the all star field for the first time instead of starting out back. 15/1 on 3 guys or 2 and danica not so bad.
