i would never advise some1 to play juiced up H2Hs cause they will kill u in the longrun, and especially at a track like Kansas....

but my fav H2H on the whole board is menard>ambrose (-140) which went up to -170

probably 1st time all season anything +100 or worse odds wasnt my fav h2h

actually what i used to tie in my race winner this week

Thats it for me fellas, just wish everybody GOODLUCK on the race today...Same strategy that worked out well last weekend with using a race low odds favorite, parlay a fav with too low of odds with a H2H to lower risk on them and double the overall profit...so just took mid-range to long-shots on the single race winners so no matter what play i have wins, ill get what i want out of any of them...but i had to leave 1 of the favs off, so my bullet to dodge today is Jimmie, hopefully his winless streak on 1.5/2 mile down-force racetracks continues for at least 1 more week! If not, of course hes the fav to win but just didnt feel like the risk would be worth the reward

Got organized too late to add to my early Harvick bet.... so Go Kev Go.

I had an interesting conversation with a crew member for Ambrose last night. He's been with the 9 for 2 years, was with the 43 the year before that and was with the 16 for several years.
He said that the performance of RPM (43 & 9) generally mirrors that of the Roush cars. Their season hasn't gone really well since the Roush cars have kinda struggled. He told me that since RPM gets pretty much all of their stuff from Roush and and since RPM is a second-tier team $-wise, they really can't expect to generally perform much better than the worst Roush car.
He's a bit optimistic about the future for the Fords because Ford will be leaving drag racing after 2014 and it's expected that they'll start putting more money into NASCAR. He said they've recently seen a bit more help on the engineering side from Ford.
He said no one likes the "new" tire they're running this weekend, but you probably won't hear anyone telling the media that. Most everyone appreciates what Goodyear does for NASCAR and they're reluctant to say anything bad about them.
He also said that there is a special test session coming up at Charlotte, where NASCAR is going to try a number of changes such as a wickerbill and different spoilers in another attempt to make the cars less aero-sensitive for 2014.
