Alright guys, we are off to KANSAS this weekend where both the nationwide and Cup series will be racing on sat and sun afternoon...the truck series is Off this weekend, but will return for Talladega next weekend....Kansas is probably 1 of my least fav racetracks on the whole circuit, but it pays the same as all the rest....its also very wide open for picking a race winner, strategy and fuel mileage always seem to be in play here...especially since the racetrack was paved and reconfigured for last season, which doesn't make anything capping wise any easier imo..

Kansas is a 1.5 mile Tri-Oval speedway, which now has variable banking in all the turns from 17-20 degrees...the front ranges from 9-11 degrees of banking while the back evens out at exactly 5 degrees

Well got another nice win yesterday, so hopefully we can all keep it going this weekend with the wild card racetrack of the chase Talladega on the horizon for next weekend, which im already pumped about it...everybody's opinions and leans are always welcomed and encouraged from out regulars....starting up my weekly prep of past races and my track and driver notebooks, but wont be that bad as its the 2nd race at Kansas thankfully

looking back at our bets from the spring Kansas race thread this year, we almost ALL made a boat load of $$$$...i mean we hit all kinds of h2h, race winners, parlays...hopefully this week is as easy as last race here was...

when u come out of the last pit stops and u got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place u know its ur day.....we all gave the books a swift kick to the balls that day

best finish of 7th place

38 ,31, 10, 11, 12, 21, 12, 28, 41, 7, 21, 37 are his career finishes @ kansas (in recent order)

Kyle has qualified in the top 5 in 4 of the last 5 races from kansas though....

could be a great fade oppurtunity in the H2Hs after books overreact to his qualifying position....if he does that well again

Gotta think chase only concerns 3 drivers now even if kahne or bowyer/harvick wins a race ciukdnt see jimmy ir matt dropping enough points

I figured more would be 40+ behind. In suprised several within 39 or less like biff and harvick staying alive. Still alot but not impossible. Math was it isn't at least. Lol. I agree its a 3- man race still at this point. After dega next week we will know if any1 else sneaks in there cause anything can happen to top 3 there. Hope it stays close I love when championship is a 10-race battle. Be something to watch with Jimmie being a step behind on the 1.5 s this season. But a win last week could start a landslide for that team.

Reminds me just how shit the championship was b4 they started the chase format. Most seasons it would already be way way over and these races til end of the season were meaningless

Yeah dega could easily change this whole thing around and really bring In more drivers to realistically have a shot. I can't wait for talladega. Especially after having Kansas this week

even if all 3 get involved at dega, the last 4 races are tracks that matt and jj are great on. would go back to them being in position to win, running top 5 each week. dont see anyone coming after them. not to mention the last 3 plate races, jj and matt have run together up front and that should keep them from trouble.

Ya just like everything, it's certainly not going to hit all the time but it is better than betting a 2 or 3 to one favorite straight up in my opinion.

Yeah it just depends. No $ to be made on Jimmie at his raceday price but I had 1/3 of the risk and 3x the profit had I bet him straight up to hit my profit margins instead if doing what I did. All just depends

Of course its risky to do most of the time cause if u win race h2h are always tricky especially cause u can't bet a chalk one u have to take a chance and hope it wins too, but like my race winner parlays lately it paid off in a big way. Just depends on the situation each bettor is un and what U already have bet.

Yeah and they rejected several bowyer h2hs I tried to bet for some reason. I opened the parlay with Jimmie to get his current price an then started looking for a h2h. Can't remember which ones got rejected but the truex fade wasn't even my first or 2nd choice . They might have saved me from losing by rejecting the first ones I tried with Clint . LOL

Just said it wasn't allowed in the same parlay. Not sure why I tried several cause thought I faded kahne in 1 and maybe he was Hendrick car too maybe but that wasnt it. Then thought was just bowyer for some reason but that wasnt it either.

No reason I could find why some were accepted and others were not
