im definatley just going on my own...i want to keep it very simple

getting way too many people making picks now which we all know kills ur chances to win usually, and this was suppose to just be a fun thing for only a few regular nascar guys to do together during off-season..just too big now for my liking

just give up the spot being held for me

Why has it "now become complicated"?? Nothing has changed since the first post. I know what's going on. Nothing changes as far as picks if we had 3 entries. There is still 5 people picking per entry and each person still makes 6 picks each.

Anyway, does that mean you are out too Avs? If so, we have our 10 for the 2 entries and can get started.

If you're going on your own it's expensive 2500 points I understand the more people in can cut our chances down but if I thought I could win on my own I would of done 2heads better than 1 and all that

As it stands with 2 entries the prize breakdown will be $750 if your entry wins and $250 if the other entry wins. 7500 or 2500 points for a second and 3750 or 1250 for a third placing.

If Mike, Avs and Yisman (or anyone else) wants to make a third team entry with just you guys and still be part of the team thing that would be great. Much prefer to have a piece of 3 entries than just the 2. I'll leave it up to you guys to sort out what you want to do.



I'll send everyone a PM asking you to submit your picks in the next day or so. You should plan to get them back to me by 10th December if possible please.

Everyone will be asked to make 1 x 'Must Keep' pick, and 5 other picks each rated as 1, 2 or 3 star.

I'll add up the points and create a ranked list of the picks, which we can discuss here.

Yisman said he would only take a spot if he was needed.

Although it would be very nice to have his picks in the mix

You should have got a PM from me asking you to reply with picks when you are ready. We won't get the official lines until the 17th though.

That's great if you have six 3 star confident picks. You'll also have input after we create the initial list ;-)

Yeah, Lou will give us the lines we can use on the 17th. Then we have 2 days to make our picks and debate the group entry.

If you can send me something that looks like this it would be helpful

1, 2 or 3 stars next to each pick and one nominated keeper.

I'll add up the team picks and give a list of 5 x 3 star entry picks, 5 x 2 star, 5 x 1 star and a list of leftovers.

Team members each then get to nominate 1 pair they think should be swapped. If 2 other people agree with the swap, we do it.
