Hey guys what are your thoughts on tonights matchups? Until I see the final teams for Essendon vs Sydney I'm not sure, Essendon have some big names back but this is just a training run to get them ready for round 1.
I think the best bet for tonight is on Adelaide -3.5, the win will give them a spot in the Final and after the shocking season they had last year I think they are gonna want this more than the Pies. I cant see the Pies winning this, they will be treating this as a training run.

No bet on Pies/Crows for mine. Pies usually play AAMI crazy-well; and Bucks could be looking for some momentum coming into round 1. Plus the Pies on paper are simply better; but being NAB Cup; who knows which Pies turn out.

Easy win by Crows tonight
Looking forward I'm really liking Kangaroos -11.5, they basically have a full squad and the Dogs are bringing in some youth. No Boyd and No Cross, the doggies are really going to struggle with the clearances, plus the main target up forward in Jones is also out. Kangas will win this one 30+ points

Yeah, Petrie and Lachlan Hanson are the notable outs, they are lacking in the defence but without the dogs midfield I dont think that will matter too much, I'm hoping the dogs get smashed in the inside 50's

Whats peoples thoughts on the NAB grand final? Any other day i'd pick West Coast but the fact it is still NAB and in adelaide makes it edgy. I still lean the eagles but for a tiny play.

After Carlton's poor pre-season the $3.45 about Richmond winning is looking fairly juicy with the TAB. Not sure that will last for all that long, given that Richmond have been playing some good footy themselves.

Looks like a fair bet Cooper, but the only thing stopping me is being fooled by pre-season form. Take the line +22.5

Fair point kingsr, don't think I'll be taking it myself as I don't see the tigers winning, but would consider the line.
And RIP Jim Stynes

Rip jimma. Great man.
Does present a great betting opportunity. Demons at 1.45. Great anchor in a multi. Don't really have a great second leg though. Maybe tigers plus 40 points

Was just looking at the same. Do you know if J Brown is playing? Even if he was, there's no midfield to feed him balls...still though I'd rather he was out.
How bout St Kilda to win?
If you follow league, Warriors and Melb are great bets in a multi. They wont lose.

Port have had a good per season so are some chance of rolling the saints at home.
Not sure about brown status but this is a huge motivational spot for the demons. I will take you advice and roll in the NHL and another on the demons into the hawks

Saints have a terrible record against Port in Adelaide, we have done well of late but that was when we were at the top of the table. I can see Port rolling us at home, I'm taking Port +20.5 and maybe .5 a unit on the ML
I'm staying away from the Melbourne game

Are you ready to rock?!
Is everyone ready? I'm not, haven't done any research on this season yet. I anticipated being footy starved in the off season, so I started following soccer. Lot of research and putting together a betting system has had me focusing on soccer, but I will be able to use it on AFL just that it's not ready yet.
I might look into the Port game, it all depends on Primus. Port are well and truly capable of winning this match.
