I don't know about smashing the doggies, I don't know if you can stop Hall. Doggies coming off the bye helps freo here imo. I have freo under 39.5 lets see how it plays out.

I have a few system plays i want to try out

S1 - Fade any team that played their previous game in WA (4x)
S2 - Take any team that previous played Collingwood (1x)
S3 - Fade any team coming off a bye - if two teams on a bye are playing each other take the home side (2x)

Not really sure, but my plan is to ride these out till the end of the season and re analyze - for that game though i don't think you can beat the Demons regardless, they didn't show much vs WCE

The factors you have mentioned are things I think are things you consider when capping a game, but should not be the sole determiner of where to put your cash.

I put a bit of thought into it and obviously there are going to be spots where you just cringe but I really want to ride these plays out
most weeks don't have three byes so it might hurt early but regardless i want to see what happens

my first S3 - Port vs Hawks on Friday is obviously one that I wouldn't play but i'm going to ride it and take the points for the Power

How long are you going to play the bye angle for?

I've said repeatedly in AFL threads that there will come a point where the bye is a benefit, rather than a hindrance. A week off for banged up teams will be very helpful.

yeah it would definitely benefit some teams more than others, i think the younger teams suffer in the bye situation
i'm going to run with it for a few weeks and see what happens if im losing too much cash i think ill can it
