Nice start to a new chapter GnP...... 3-1 last night
Actually missed last nights opening games...I knew the NRL was starting, but somehow fishing ended up being more important....
Dinner party tonight as well, so looks like Saturday night footy is out....
Apart from that
WARRIORS v PARRAMATTA
I do like the look of this warriors team....Parramatta have lost a few of there strike players and go into this game with what I consider a weaker team than in previous seasons...
Big question is whether Mr J.Hayne will take the warriors on all by himself or will he get some help.... 17 against 1. Warriors for me. With the line set at 7.5pts, I think it could go either way. Warriors should win, but on the line to close to be confident....
TIP: WARRIORS
TITANS V DRAGONS: Talking about teams strength, I actually believe that the dragons team named tonight is stronger than last year....Titans have lost a couple of players from last year and injuries in key positions ( Matt Rogers and Nathan Friend )...But this game could end being a real grinding affair.....
The titans never receive the recongision at times they deserve...The main point for the titans is that EVERY team wants to knock off the regining premiers... At home and with the start I think there is only one choice... TIP: TITANS +6.5 pts
STORM v MANLY: The storm can now concentrate on winning games for the right reasons.....The Storm will be especially fired up as they play their first match for competition points but will the emotion of this occasion be enough to get them home...This game can seriously go either way...
TIP: MANLY +4.5 pts
DON'T FORGET....This is round 1.....Don't overload on any BETS....... And REMEMBER what ever you bet GOOD LUCK......

Just got the over/unders for the 3 NRL games tonight....
WARRIORS v PARRA: 42.5pts.....UNDER... If your like me and can't split the line betting, I'm thinking this could be the best option outside of Hd2Hd betting......Whilst both of these teams could score points i feel that 43 is set a bit high and if it does go over it will be later in the game than earlier....
TITANS v DRAGONS: 37.5 pts.....UNDER.. I can only see this game being a grinding defensive one. Sure there will be some tries scored but I believe that the defense is the key to this victory....
STORM v MANLY: 38.5 pts.......OVER...With these two teams I think the shackles will be released and both attacks will go at it...I'm only looking at 20-20 score to top this line, and I cannot see many reasons not to think this won't happen...

What about NZ/Eels O40.5? I'm no expert in NRL but both teams seem to have good forwards.

How many barns did you collect over the offseason in other sports, GnP? It's been quit a quick turn-a-round and now AFL and NRL are back. Let's him those books where it hurts this year, with plenty of "W's".

Defintely not a good start last night.... Luckily Whobegotyou and Black Caviar gave me a nice amount to play with last night....Went 2-7 last night but amazingly got out of jail with a minor loss........
CANBERRA V SHARKS: I'm sorry to say but this game sux in every quarter...... Sharks have been DISMAL in their trials and just can't seem to score points....Canberra have now lost three of their big name players for todays game.....This game actually could end up being 0-0 ............ And to make matters worse the line betting stands at Cronulla +8.5pts.....
I do think the raiders find a way to win this but I would never concede 8.5pts to Cronulla with this Raiders team.......
Seriously over/under set at 45.5 pts.....UNDER all day for me...
TIP: UNDER 45.5 pts
PANTHERS v NEWCASTLE: I am looking forward to watching this match today....Expect the ball to be shown every patch of this field and some explosive runs to boot......The Knights historically start well at the beginning of each season and for that reason I'm leaning to them....
TIP: NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS +3.5 ptsand OVER 46.5 pts....... I always believe that if the books are going to give you a start take it, but whoever wins this game will win by a margin of 12-16 points......
Over/under set at 46.5pts... Leaning to over in this game
A-LEAGUE GRAND FINAL GAME..... Brisbane v Central Coast....Really not concerned who wins.. Looking for other options than Hd2Hd market.....Surely Brisbane will score, its just a question on weather CC will score...I'm thinking if they don't score they don't win.......At this stage I don't see this game ending up 0-0 either.....
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ $1.97 compared to $1.77 for no team and/or one team to score

Real bad first week.
36ers @ Kings (O166.5) - (1x)
Both teams have nothing to play for and there will be no defence just offence.

TONIGHTS GAMES:
PARRAMATTA v PENRITH: Looks to be a wet affair tonight. A scenario that will suit the unders backers. Even after Round 1 Parramattta looked like they were a few weeks ahead of several other teams and Penrith were stagnant against the Knights. The line is set t -4.5 pts which is a concern??
How can one team play so good away and the other team play so bad at home, and now a line of only 4.5 pts separates them.
Parra are HOT even after only 1 round.
TIP: PARRAMATTA -4.5 pts
CANBERRA v BRISBANE: Another game where we see a round 1 winner play a loser. The raiders will be boosted by last weeks victory and with a new established halfback should see further improvement. But lay the Broncos at your own peril...
Brisbane line set at 5.5 pts... Raiders should sneak haome by more than the converted try.... Again sticking with the home side..
TIP: CANBERRA -5.5pts
BEST BET : Parramatta / Penrith Time of 1st try OVER 8:00 minutes (NSW Sportstab)
GOOD LUCK ALL
