Pretty Rough start on here with Swanny playing a hell of a game but getting 26 touches so just missed there

The conditions certainly favoured brisbane in Wellington, since they train in those humid and slippery conditions having said that the saints were pretty poor for 3 quarters

North were simply too good and the over never even looked liked it

Won 2 Lost 3 hoping to bounce back today

Carlton's will try to replicate their game style of last week which saw them get their first win over the dogs. The quick movement and playing on at any chance will open up the game. Also West Coasts tall forwards will be an issue for carlton's small and undermanned backline. Expecting a west coast win but carlton to be in it for most of the game because they do generally match up well against the eagles.

Considering the round of footy which saw a handful of upsets, i'm not terribly disappointed however it is a loss so hopefully can bounce back next week. Couldn't believe the result in the Carlton/West Coast game, and let me tell you be a blues fan and being at the game it was one of the best wins i have been at during the home and away season

Mate after buckley kicked the goal to make scores level i dont think i sat down at all

It was pretty ironic that if each team had of kicked straight i would have got my total points bet but the result could have been different. I will take a carlton win everyday of the week though

Just a couple of early plays that im gonna have a go at:

Melbourne total points under 65.5 - 2 Units (Sportsbet)

Melbourne are averaging a dismal 54 points a game this year and have only got over this total twice this year (against Carlton and Gold Coast). Also it is there is rain forecasted for friday, saturday and sunday this week so more reason why i reckon they will struggle to get over this total.

Brisbane total points under 70.5 - 1.5 Units (Sportsbet)

Brisbane are averaging 69 points per game so far this year and again have only got over this total twice so far this year. In their last 5 encounters against Sydney they average 60.8 points with a high score of 68 in 2010. Also the forecast for thursday and friday is thunderstorms so the ground could still be quite heavy underfoot.

I saw St Kilda +51.5 @ Luxbet and jumped on @ 1.90. To me, that is far to generous. Saints have covered that line v the hawks last 5 games.

Poor form by Hawthorn! Yes they had several key players out but that seem to have a huge effect on the rest of the playing group. Looked to be doubting themselves and also made so many errors coming out of the backline which is very unhawthorn like. Never mind hopefully can bounce back

Doubling up on Collingwood tonight, have really started to show some shades of their 2010 game style which won them the premiership. Relentless pressure all over the ground, particularly in their forward half. Although the inclusion of Tex Walker is huge for Adelaide since they have looked lost going forward at times this year, it is important to remember he has missed over 12 months of footy and i highly doubt he is going to immediately go back to the player we all know he can be.
