Both these teams have had history of high scoring games but i see a low scoring one tonight. The roosters conceded just 14 points 2 weeks ago and last week did not concede a single point. The eels leaked 31 points, and the bulk of those tries were extremely soft tries. Expect Ricky Stuart to really focus on defence this week. What makes this a really strong play is that whilst the roosters are defensively strong, their offence doesn't appear to have clicked quite yet having not scored more than 16 points this season and I'm expecting them to play a defence-oriented game. Plus this is a night match and it is relatively cold, so fatigue should not be a big factor in both these team's defences. Really liking the UNDER in this one.

NRL Round 5
2* Bulldogs vs Sea Eagles UNDER 35.5
Both these two teams have a history of low scoring games of late and I see it being the same result today, similar to how that rabbitohs bulldogs game played out last week.
2* Titans vs Broncos +5.5
Titans may have been looking the better side this entire season but I think 5.5 is a bit inflated. Broncos looked really good in that 2nd half against the best of the business in the storm and I think they'll replicate that form against the Titans. I think Broncos win this in what should be a close game, but taking the 5.5 points as insurance.

EASY WINNER!!! Unlucky warriors. They outplayed the rabbitohs for most of that game, really deserved the win there. but having said that, I believe there is finally some life in these warriors

NRL Round 6
2* Roosters vs Bulldogs UNDER 36.5
The dogs have not scored more than 20 points all season and now they come up against a Roosters side that conceded 0 points for 2 matches and a half! Sure the roosters leaked points last week against the raiders but expect that to be a wake up call for them tonight. Plus they're playing at home. I think both teams will be fired up defensively and we should we see a grinding style of footy tonight. There should be no more than 30 points scored in this one.

wow did not see that win coming. tigers score 2 tries in a the space of a few minutes to get the cover. main reason I picked the over 22 cause neither the tigers nor the dragons have played a match this season totalling less than 22 points. nonetheless, win's a win. might be having a play for tomorrow so stay tuned.

I am speechless with that roosters dragons game.
The storm warriors OVER was a really lucky one, had Hurrell not knocked on 10m out, we may not of got that slater try which would of cost us the over by 0.5 . Warriors played really well and to lose like that, it's disheartening. Let's hope they are able to get a W next win cause they need it, for team morale if anything. The storm weren't at their best but showed that even with their backs against the wall, they have the plays to win games. Kudos to them!

NRL Round 7
2* Panthers +3.5 vs Eels
A depleted Panthers backline versus an eels team devoid of confidence but boasting their two stars hayne and sandow hungry for a win. Something tells me Panthers win this or at least keep it really close (possibly golden point). Eels haven't won a game on the road all season, but they play a panthers team that has not won since round 1. No real analysis or stats to support this play but my guts telling me that the unpredictability and uncertainty in this panthers side will spark a much needed win.

Interesting to note that you regularly play margins in the AFL, but only the spread or points total in NRL.
Do you dabble in Pick the Winners or Margins with the TAB?

well with AFL, the margins play has more margin for error than nrl margins. with afl, a team has to beat another by more than 6 goals to cook the play. and given the increase in goal kicking difficulty/inaccuracy it adds more in our favour. However with the NRL, 12 points is really not many points to play with. As we've seen in so many games this season, there have been plenty of blowouts of 13+.
nah i don't play pick the winners or margins, i just play the margins of afl games i'm confident and with NRL strictly stick to totals and at times spreads.
