I think Carlton do this relatively easy tonight. I know it's just NAB Cup but Carlton have a good record against Brisbane and Brisbane have had a pretty easy run in the NAB Cup

Staying away from betting NAB Cup, but have flirted with the idea of putting something on the blues, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Can't wait for the real stuff, GL guys!

Ended up down almost 6 units for NAB Cup, Brisbane looked good last night, they wanted it more and deserved the win.

Yeah first round you always get weird odds, with those odds the line will probably only be about 20-25 points. Will be on Brisbane for sure!

Geelong is getting great value here, I generally stay away from multi's but a line or ml play looks good at the moment.

Also liking North Melbourne and Port Adelaide to cover, will have to wait to see teams though

Honestly Brisbane will win that by 100! I'm going huge on this. ML is 1.60 with tab!

geelong have a great record against the hawks...they are good value. although no stevie J wont help.

i know it was only nab cup and all but hawks played lets be honest horrible? and they were favorites to win it everyone new they wont play there strongest team and all but they should there were expected to beat the "weaker" teams they had to play in the nab cup.. personally i cant see hawks getting a win till round 4. So might be some good value betting against them. But im no expert here just giving a personal opinion

Dont read much into the nab cup pal. Hawthorne are one of the premier clubs that consistently demolish during the regular season

That is a tough first 3 rounds for the Hawks. It is quite often that the teams that play late finals do badly preseason, they are weeks behind in preperation so it's hard to know how a team is going to go round 1. I do think that the cats and eagles will beat them but I think the hawks will beat the pies. But in saying that its far too early to tell, bring on round 1!!

What are people's thoughts on Friday nights game? Before seeing the teams I'm liking Adelaide, it's a team that finished 2nd vs a team that finished 11th last season. Just goes to show how NAB Cup form can create weird lines. But in saying that not sure why Brisbane are only 13 point favs against the Dogs, may have to make an early play on that before the public pushes the line up

I like both of these bets. Hopefully tex can get going early. I think round 1 + crows sporting an almost full strength team, will put them over the line.

At this stage I like Eagles, Sandilands is a huge out, plus Clarke is also not playing
