    Handicappers
I have a husband who has been handicapping for several years. He keeps a winning ROI but claims wagering interferes with his handicapping. Says he would do much better if he could just handicap and not worry about the betting aspects. I was wondering if other handicappers feel the same way? Would someone be interested perhapps in partnering, hubby picks horses and partner does wagering, just idea. Have documented proof of hubbies winning ROI if interested.

Have him post his picks here for free and let's see how well he does.

selections 101, I have looked at the spreadsheet that you provided in your other thread and I don't see how you claim a winning ROI. The only column of wagers that showed a flat-bet profit was the pick-3 due to one $4,000+ hit. However, that profit assumes that you only wagered on one pick-3 ticket per race. Can you clarify the spreadsheet information on why you believe your husband has a winning ROI?

      Joe.

The 'wagering aspect' is part of handicapping. Without watching the changing odds on the tote board, you would never know if your carefully selected picks had value or not. Everybody can pick winners. But betting is about value.

Thanks Probettor1 hope things are well for you. U21c3f6 I play win bets on horses 8-1, recently raised to 10-1 or higher 0 min til post, overall ROI is 2.72 last 200 races ROI is 2.95. The winning ROI I stated in post I believe was for the last 200 races. Your right Dark Horse that's my job I guess you could say is to find the value of Eds picks. I was hoping to find someone who had more experience and knowledge at that, then I, and would like a partner.Thank you Arletta that maybe something to consider.

I doesnt have to be real money. But just to have a idea of how it could go. Even if you lose, is is still interesting. As long as you get some value in your analysis it is fan to watch.

thanks selection101. You are still a bad girl. I need to know money. Lets say I did bet 100 to win carson and 100 to win diamond, how much would be the payout?

In sports is different ej +300 pays 300 hundred for each 100 and is it is -300 means that you have to bet 300 to win 100.

11 pays 31 dollars for each dollar? How much pays 22.4? I probably have it all wrong.

Hey probettor1 the payoff is based on $2 wagers, so if you bet $100 to W on Diamond dutches who paid $22.4 you would win $1,075.20

You are kidding me. keep doing this babe. You could be selling pick to thousands of people. Consistency is all it takes. Selling picks could be very profitable. Picks are sold in the entire world, and are sold for a lot of money, even by lousy handicapers.

So one win in 11 and another in 22.4 is about 1500 for an innitial investment of 800? If so, you had a hell of a good start here.
