I think #3 Jackson Bend is an interesting long shot. 4th race off 8 month layoff, nicely spaced (4 wks apart) and he did some good running in those races. Has run well at this track, at this distance, and has a 2nd and a 3rd on wet tracks from 3 starts including a 112 beyer

Thinking the same thing but Jackson is now 4/1 down from 10/1 ML. Too short to take imo. Going with Sage Valley.

broke maiden 2nd start with a 97 beyer. Dissappointed
last race running wide and finishing far back after showing
speed to the quarter. Just have a feeling something might
be up with the long works and the stretch. Last race winner
ran approximately a 95 beyer so he exits a very fast race.
Would certainly cover with a 28 exacta.. average opinion

have plenty of bottom from the mile turf races and this trainer
already has a turf route to poly sprint winner who paid $36.40

Race 8 looks formful with either 10-Silverette and 1A-Sensible Lady. 3-Lorelei's Song 12-1 would be my long shot stab.

Race 9
5-Pool Play is an overlay at 12-1 and 4-Eldaafer 5-1 would be next if PP scratches

Race 10
Would go with 2-Strong Impact 9-2.I know you like Console but think he is screwed unless he can rate.At 10-1 though I'm not going to talk you off him.

Race 11
Like 1-Edge Of Reality and guess getting 1A too is a bonus.4-English Manor is interesting at 20-1.

Race 12
I guess 7-Sports Day 1st off claim for miracle worker Mike Pino.The connections suck but #s say 6-Settle The Score can outrun 20-1 ML.

thanks mike....he was trained by Thomas Drury jr then mott got him and he had a rough time of it...then that last race he just looked good to me........its a tough spot ..but as you said 10-1 thanks for in put........ive never seen a meet at Saratoga like this year....favorites ,rain ,no turf......??????????.

by the way ..as u you said no turf I know gambling fever is going on turf...........but he like a muddy track .and .ran on dirt .so maybe he will get in ..or should I say not s he was good last time ...he was just so wide......

I know its bad timing on my part here but watch for trainers and jocks who are winless at the meet. someone alwasy wins their first win on closing day up there it seems. (ala Phil Teator in R1)
BTW, also like Console in Sprint. Using with El77 and #12 Wicked Tune for blowup$. As much as I love Strong Impact not sure I'm feeling it for him in this one... going against Varsity and TightendTd

beyer on a good track at Bel but really no telling how she'll react to this
footing at Sar.. Adding winners share here would really make this claim
a bonanza and with her figures she's more than capable of doing it here

firster with fast works. However he is by a 23% fts sire
(caught a firster by him @ sar anthony dutrow) and has my
other angle of costing a lot relative to sire fee and what dam's
done (or in this case hasn't done). Enough other talent in this
field that he's not too much of a stickout
