Runnin'toluvya in Charles Town Classic (Race #11) on Saturday. Morning line at 12/1 but if this horse goes off anywhere over 5/1 it is a steal. Not the class of some of the others in the race, but has the experience on the bull ring track and does nothing but win there. Three turns will be tough for horses that have never seen the track. Reminds me of how Late Night Pow Wow beat the field at CT Oaks in Sep at 9/1.

I really don't like him hart.. believe it was the gotham where he got a perfect trip behind a ridiculously fast pace and won.. over the next couple of days when I can see his complete pp's I'll give you a more complete answer.. if you find the advanced pp's let me know.. haven't searched yet

looked at them again..in both the gotham and the wood he was the beneficiary of ridiculous fast paces and i'm going by brisnet figures and not just looking at fractions..can understand looking at it and saying closes at a mile,closes at 1 1/8 and now a 1 1/4 and usually a solid pace in the derby..seems logical other than fighting his way through traffic..the sire is a cheap godolphin who you don't see often but the other runner out of the dam won over $450k so that's not a bad thing..the odds seem about right to me
but just giving it a quick look could see maybe 5-10 lower

from my perspective a positive is in his first 3 races the paces were pretty close to par and he won all those races closing as he always does.. yes as you said 3 races back he was not far off and add your info on the trip and you have something even better.. I don't think your's is without merit.. we all look for different things and stick by our methods..I would have been more impressed if he closed into more modest paces even though he more than likely will get a fast pace in the derby.. I like who I have in the futures (game winner and tax) and probably not going to change anything if they draw reasonably.. omaha beach going to be short odds but think regardless of what he does in this race he's going to be a big time horse later in the year

legitimate gripe.. he has really not rated since he's run on the dirt (once he was a length off 3 or 4 starts back) and the derby is no place to learn the lesson..my other slight knocks is he has an extreme mud pedigree (by rating) and last was on an off track.. pace a little on the slow side last race (not a lot).. war front/seeking the gold mare classy distance bloodlines though so on pedigree at least he's really solid.. for the record tax, game winner and he lead the pack within the logical contenders on brisnet distance ratings
