Hart, I know you watch a lot of replays. Just wondering what is your take on the two favorites, Justify and Magnum Moon. Just from watching videos point of view. I mean do they look good to you? Were they struggling at at any point? Any problem changing leads? Did they respond to the jockey?

I don’t do my analysis from replay cuz I don’t know how. A lot of times I thought they look good visually but in reality they are not that impressive. Tks in advance

MAGNUM MOON LOOKED REAL GOOD, HE WAS PRESSURED BY QUIP THE ENTIRE WAY, I BELIEVE THEY WENT A BIT SLOWER..(DIFFERNET TRACKS) THEN JUSTIFY..........THEN WHEN THEY TURNED FOR HOME MAGNUM MOON DRIFTED TO THE GRANDSTAND.....WHEN HE FINALLY DID GET HIM UNDER CONTROL .LOOKED LIKE HE TOOK OFF ..BUT THAT WAS RIGHT BEFORE THE FINISH LINE...WHERE JUSTIFY WENT RIGHT TO THE LEAD....BY HIMSELF.... HE WAS GOING FASTER AT SANTA ANITA...AND Bolt D'oro WAS SITTING 4 TO 5 BEHIND THE ENTIRE WAY ..THEN WE HE DID MAKE HIS MOVE..JUSTIFY TOOK OFF. Mr Harlan is scheduled to run on 5/2/2018 in Race 8 at Mountaineer

magnum moon looked real good, he was pressured by quip the entire way, i believe they went a bit slower..(differnet tracks) then justify..........then when they turned for home magnum moon drifted to the grandstand.....when he finally did get him under control .looked like he took off ..but that was right before the finish line...where justify went right to the lead....by himself.... He was going faster at santa anita...and bolt d'oro was sitting 4 to 5 behind the entire way ..then we he did make his move..justify took off. Quip who was second in the magnum moon race....was clearly second best..as he was pressured all the down the stretch.....by 4 horses and held it...
Now the replay part........i mostly look for horses that got into trouble.......and the sort of thing...

Let's just ignore all that stat stuff, you said that Moon drifted out, looks green to you. I see that in the replay. What about Justify? Did he look comfortable running to you? As for Mendelsohnn, I think we will have a better idea after Rayya runs in the Kentucky Oaks on Friday. Thanks in advance.

yes if it wasnt for that stat lol...what are stats..or trends..they are made to be broken...yes justify looked very good..won easy to me....based on his last race.....anybody who ran in the santa anita derby.....shouldnt beat him......bolt d ore....has not shot....but it is horse racing....and he wont go out and have a e z lead this time....longer race more horses.and more speed........flameaway is a tough grinder.....he had a pretty good race last out...think he can hang tough here...lone sailor i know 50-1.....he ran a good race last out...agaist noble indy....he had the lead down stretch.....he was outside ..noble indy ran a straight line....if you can check that replay....he might see lone sailor..had to check in the back when he started running..had a really good workout a few weeks ago

Solomini WATCHED HIS LAST RACE........HE RAN WIDE THE ENTIRE WAY...LOOKS LIKE HE DIDNT SWITCH LEADS TILL HE WAS REAL CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE...BUT WATCHING THAT REPLAY..THE 9 COMBATANT RAN A REAL SHARP RACE FINISHED 4TH HE WAS WAY BACK HAD AN EXCUSE...WENT WIDE AROUND THE FIRST TURN...AND REALLY WIDE TURNING FOR HOME..AND WAS WAY WAY BACK THE ENTIRE RACE....AND THE RACE BEFORE ON 3/17 Solomini HAD NO EXCUSE HERE HE RACED ON THE INSIDE THE ENTIRE WAY SITTING 3 TO 5TH AND MAGNUM MOON RAN ON THE OUTSIDE OF HIM SITTING 3 TO 4TH AND HE STILL SMOKED HIM....BUT AGAIN COMBANTANT CAME LATE AND JUST ABOUT BEAT Solomini ... WILL THE MILE AND QUARTER HELP COMBANTANT ? MAGNUM MOON LOOKS TOUGH.HE KEEPS DRAWING OFF

WATCHED A FEW REPLAYS OF VINO ROSSI HE LOOKED SHARP IN THE WOOD...HE WAS NECK AND NECK DOWN THE STRETCH WITH ENTICE...WHICH I LIKE...HE SHOWS HEART...HE BATTLED THEN TOOK OFF.BUT THE RACE BEFOR...HE DIDNT LOOK SO HOT THE HORSE THAT DID WAS FLAMEAWAY...I KEEP GOING BACK TO HIM...HE HAS HEART GUTS..AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE DOSNT TIRE...HE KEEPS COMING,,,

Thanks Hart, I was trying to figure out Solomini, wasn’t sure what to make of him. He looked like he was gonna go, then kinda like not moving. As for Combatant, I’ve always like him. In fact, I picked him to win back on 3/17 at The Rebel. Again, he lost to Magnum Moon and Solomini. I just hate horses that seems to keep losing to the same horses. Last two times, he was stuck in the outside post and again he is stuck in the outside post. Maybe the 1 1/4 won’t be as bad. I don’t know. At least he should not run into traffic in the early stages. He is also sired by Scat Daddy (same as Justify) and out of Boarder Dispute (Boundary)- but boundary was more of a sprinter, I think. So I’m not how 1 1/4 will do for him.
