All my picks for CD are VOID due to a very likely dead rail or even out to the 2-3 path.If you watch the way Lanerie rode the 4th it tells you all you need to know about how the track is playing.It works at other tracks to but you watch the best jockey in the colony who is a regular rider there which Lanerie is at CD and see how they are riding their horses.

He made no effort to save any ground on the 5 and just kept him 4-5 wide all around despite clearing and making the front.

I really hate CD when this happens.It's too much work because you can't just take the outside drawn horses.You have to handicap the jockeys and see which are smart enough to figure out the inside is too deep and ride accordingly.

That's the PACE PROJECTOR.It tries to predict who is going to set the pace and if there are going to be a bunch of horses fighting for the lead.The order of the horses is where the pace figures put them at the 1/2 I think.It might be the 1/4 pole.

I think he is every bit of 30-1 if not more but I can't get past the 4 favorites.

Card starts out with a clear standout 11-Expecting Cash 4-5.Has already won over this course at 6f last year and employs a stalking style that makes him hard to beat.The only negative is being drawn furthest outside.8-Battlements 6-1 is very close to the big favorite off his last race but that is the only race in his 17 race career that is competitive.And he is 0 for 5 on turf.Second choice on the ML Lake Creek 4-1 is just as fast as the 11 but on dirt.His turf races are much slower.3-Le Mans 10-1 looks like he could threaten for place / show spots but comes off the bench for a trainer with only 2 starters the last year and is 0-2.Now with the obvious horses out of the way 7-Kumacandu 20-1 is logical if those ??? are legit on the main contenders.

6-Holiday Drama 7-2 Rosie rides the first starter of her husband Joe Sharp's training career.He is an assistant to Mike Maker so I assume he knows very well what he is doing.
2-Tellalittlesecret 6-1 Trainer doesn't hit the big time tracks but something to be said for his turf runners.They are mostly in cheap claimers but he is 5 for 9 winners and 8 for 9 in the money.And this is only a 15k claimer so not out of his league.
5-Kays Birthday 10-1 Only knock I have on him is jock is terrible on turf.Usually does just enough wrong to keep turf horses from winning but they end up ITM.

Race 3
6-Catalactic 4-1 Rosie in line for a big day.Have to pick and choose when to go against her and Mike Maker 1st off claim going dirt to turf with big back turf figs doesn't seem like a good spot.
2-Browneyed Bachelor 12-1 Has a legit shot on paper but trainer not so good and always suspicious of runners coming from Indiana Downs that look competitive.
8-Klisz 12-1 Ditto to the above horse with both trainer and coming from Ind Downs.

Race 4
1-Ray From Clay 30-1 If that race at Mountaineer 2 back is to be believed then he has a legit shot at crossing the wire first.At anywhere near the ml no need to mess with anything but W/P/S.Does have bad jock mentioned race 2 so have to be careful.

Race 5
7-America Mon Amie 12-1 Could be a good one bred up and down for grass.No doubt is bred for turf routes but that extra bottom might work well at KD with the stretch drive being uphill.
6-Pattitude 10-1 This was originally my pick.Is bred to be a turf sprinter and trainer decent out of the gate.
13-Cool Comfort 5-2 Really wish this guy didn't draw in.Has to be respected coming from a nice effort at toga.Is the very much the most likely winner but can't put the fave on top in a race like this.

Race 6
3-Rau Breck 7-2 Have no idea what to do this race and this girl is related to the excellent turf runner Shakis who won the Bernard Baruch for McLaughlin back to back in 07 and 08.
1-Izzaeven 30-1 Might as well take a shot with a bomb whose unknown trainer knows how to win with turf horses.
5-Issheit 8-1 I give up trying to beat M Pino.Guy wins everywhere with everything.

5-Arcane 6-1 Expect a big improvement from this gelding.Not sure it's enough to take down the 3 but is the only one with unknown upside that could explode.
4-Approvethismessage 12-1 Have to think he is doing very well right now for Asmussen to put him in here off almost 1/2 a year.

Yeah it is a little chip in each horses saddle I think.Definitely a step in the right direction rather than the prehistoric approach of some guy guesstimating how many lengths behind the leader everyone is.

It's kind of laughable in this day and age that is the way the charts are made.

...just making small talk here ...not sure if you ever used google earth.....but if you have...you can measure to exact ...how far it....to run around your block ..to the foot...with the ruler app......try it....its very cool ...
