Friday/Oaks Day notes

Race 1 is chalky, top 2 have a pretty big edge.
6-Jamaican Smoke
7-Brazen Persuasion
4-Irish Lute

Race 2 is more short prices

Race 3 is the first chance to get some bombs in the picture with 6-Battle Tale and 8-Saturday Storms, both 20-1.

Race 4 would be interesting with a few scratches as the AEs 13-Transend and 14-Foolhardy could get involved, both 20-1.

No prices to be found in Race 5

Race 6 has Scatman 12-1 who looks live in his first turf sprint.Appears to be kicking down the barn in the AM also.

Race 7 could be fruitful because the favorites have run their fast races on surfaces other than dirt.While some have dirtied up form but fast races in the recent past like 1-Springsteen Road and 6-Annoy, both 12-1.

Race 8 beyond Our Amazing Road their could be some nice prices if She's A Tiger isn't 100% off the long layoff.Most notably 2-Lady Paradime at 30-1.

Race 9 is between the 4 ml choices

Race 10 If handling the class jump 1-Moonshine Mullin 15-1 could pop

Race 11 is Untapables to lose even from the far outside but Ria Antonia 10-1, Rosalind 8-1, and Unbridled Forever 12-1 could make the exacta playable or the TRI if I can find a couple more.

Race 12 has a fave with a ml of 4-1 so should be value anywhere you look.I like the co-2nd choices 8-Taketheodds and 10-Dream Of Bertie who are both 5-1.Like the 8 most but might prove much better at routes.

I did look at Whomping Willow ...Her or Lady Paradime were the long shots that have an outside chance of at least cracking the exacta.One is 12-1 and one is 30-1 so I went with the 30-1.

He is sharp and Mary Lou is definitely great value at anywhere close to her ML.

Both cards are very frustrating in that there are at least 2 strong contenders every race except maybe Wise Dan.

Most have more than 2 but think I'm going to try and narrow it down to 2 and hook them up with a price or two.
