great point PS, if you are 5 deep or more, best to just hit all. I learned that at Santa Rosa where I left two horses out and not shockingly at all lost a photo in last leg.

I was looking at this horse on equibase with his good middle kick but left him off because of his win percentage. But he did run a good workout. He screwed up my straight trifecta..haha

That he does, but to be honest the race completely fell into his lap, he just had the middle kick to take advantage of it. I don't know what the rider of the 7 was thinking, and I think his actions hurt the 8 (who I didn't think had a chance but probably was the best horse in the race)

I wish I had done that yesterday or the day before, but I just blew through cash chasing real dumb shots with favorites winning non stop.

This is an endurance race, there will always be the next great opportunity, what you are doing really is the right move to make. I applaud you for it.

I really haven't been having a bad meet, I just haven't been having a good one. Most of the pick 3's and pick 4's I have hit been small scores, covering my losses but not seeing profits.

I have a side bet with a friend over pick 4 and pick 6 strategy. His point being that my pick 4 tickets are too small. At Del Mar he routinely places $200+ pick 4 tickets. I believe that small tickets will (in the long run) have a higher ROI. We haven't really decided how long we would need to run this to get accurate statistics.

That all being said, he might be right, he cashed a $2300 ticket yesterday in Del Mar's Pick 4!
