I joined the pro thing. All you have to do is bet $200 at one of their sites which I did and won it back +80 luckily. The only way you can buy stuff with your points is if your a pro so that's why I did it. You can buy credits towards some racing sites which is pretty cool. Some of their racing sites aren't very user friendly though.

in race 2 teh #1 came off my watch list heres my comments went wide then passed everyone in stretch to get up for place at 47-1 strong run on top if stretch out at least use underneath. put on 6-16

These pick 3s are paying well, though they are awfully tough to hit I'm liking them over most other plays. Lots of races where I think 4 horses have identical shots to win the race, and that isn't even counting the 1-2 contenders that I overlook.

Its funny since its so true...

I also wouldn't mind better coverage on the 10th... although I did a lot of analysis (see my post) I'm really not sure, all the horses look great.

If I knew I was going to hit the first one, I would have have taken many more on the last one. But I felt that the first race was rather wide open. But can't fight it at Toga, on the turf, its been out in front stay in front, race after race...

Read your write up, liked it a lot, Plum Pretty is my contest pick for similar reasons (though I freely admit I'm extremely new to race handicapping), I too think Royal Delta is using this as a tune up for the Alabama.

The one thing that jumps out at me so far when handicapping the turf races, is how many closing types are being entered into these races, seems like there just isn't a hot pace to close on. As always with horse racing I'm sure its more complex than that, probably surface bias as well. Wondering what you attribute the success of front runners to. Hard to deny that being on the front is where you want to be so far, but will that hold up? I'm not so sure.

If nothing else Castalleno in the 11th would be nice to have as a price horse, I just can't not take him on a turf course, especially with Bush as a trainer.
