I am looking close at one running Saturday in the 8th race. #2 Bougie Joe. In his debut he went a mile and had trouble almost all the way around the track. He got loose late and was full of run. I don't see any published works since that effort which I do not like but will play him if he looks good before the race.

First week in the books and I did not play much. I hate off tracks and all three days were either sloppy or muddy. I like to chart each race by hand on paper the old school way. A couple things that I see and usually everyone else does too.
Trainers:
Robertino Diodoro recorded 4 wins from 10 starters so he may be one to watch
Ron Moquett had 4 winners from his 8 starters. Very nice
Steve Asmussen 0 wins from 20 starts. Ouch
Jocks:
Kylee Jordan booted home 2 long shot winners on opening day one @30-1 and the other @47-1
Cristian Torres won 7 with 20 mounts
Rafael Bejarano had 5 wins from 18 starts
Horses That Looked Good:
Flap Jack: winner of a 30K claimer on opening day in good time. Keep an eye on him
Albizu: winner of the last race Sunday looked like he is the real deal.Comment -

trainer not a name (yet) on the national scene but sports excellent roi's and win %'s in applicable categories having to do with this race..only time this jock rode for him in the past 2 months brought home a big priced winner
this is a homebred fts but with her pedigree I don't think up for $30k is a really bad sign..workouts on the slow side but they are steady and the latter is always more important to me..inside posts ,like in routes, are also positive in sprints here
R6 #1 citizen (5-1)
expensive fts draws the rail which is excellent at this track going 2 turns.. sire , dam sire combo distance,class and above avg first out..trainer avg with debuters but his flat bet roi is solid with these types(lose around track take)..works solid and steady going back to mid september..as pigpen mentioned bejarano,early on, having a very solid meet and has had a lot of success with this trainer over the past 2 months
R9 #6 classy socks (9-2)
not a bad effort in debut at remington even though it was on the turf .. Race 8) #8 Deus Ex Machina (20-1 ML)Gelding out of Quality Road and an Unridled's Song mare won his debut and got claimed. I like taking a position on a horse going up the class ladder. His maiden score looked nice visually. He carved out some legitimate fractions and keep going.Let's see if he fits. Price should be square.

#4 Two Eagles River 6/5 is in very sharp form right now with just getting necked out for staying undefeated in the last start; Adds Lasix for the 1st time today and could be the extra bonus booster to win this stakes event! The value may not be there but 'River definitely the one to take the cake here

#4 Midnight Heiress 8-1 the one to upset the apple cart as a live longshot; Form is so good right now but has only managed to win 1 and have 5 place finishes from 6 starts in her career; Still nothing to be worried about with jockey Rodriguez aboard and trainer Hollendorfer teaming up where they are hitting 25% here at Oaklawn and 30% at all tracks combined!
