Correct but the $ put down by groups or syndicates like that race, the horse could break down, clip heels, lose the rider.. Awful big risk for such a small return.

no you're right.. you are doing it in a situation where horse will be a favorite that big.. they do finish out on occasion .. combination of being selective on which 1-9 and not having bad luck on those occasions

Yeah, I've seen it happen at tracks like CT and DD.. Scary stuff there.. Not to the extreme it was today at SA but over $250,000 to show on the horse which is a lot for those tracks..

I kid around here sometimes about bridge jumper alert before it actually happens and I'm definitely too loose with my standards..only be big tracks if it were my money and it will never be

Agree.. Now if you could start with a few hundred and parlay for 6 months to 1 year that might be OK.. I could see doing that.

If you were to take $200 and roll it over (not the loose change ) for a year, making one choice a week, could have a chance at turning the initial $200 into $2,423 for the year.. Not gonna get rich but its not chump change either.. Hmm.. I might have to think about that one..

can't figure 8-1 ml on this one...8 career starts and the first 6 at woodbine..7th at parx and of course with that name..winner. .sent to laurel next start to compete vs much better and came 3rd in a very fast race and figure improved 8 points..bad connections probaby something to do with it..try to beat cheater zulueta's (or greatest horsemen east of the mississipi ) who's having an off meet with 36% winners from 36 starters

hrose broke maiden vs specials in debut at pimlico last june..broke slow 2nd start parx finished 3rd..goldberg than took her up to saratoga bumped break and did nothing. .that of course much better company and just the fact he took her up there probably hints he liked her..
comes here off solid steady drills from pine meadows and this an easier n1x than saratoga of course..hAve hunch she's ready

yeah ..lot of horses gave it a go and finished underneath. .some at good odds including the 7th at mahoning at 28-1 (3rd) surrounded 1st -5th by top 4 choices..if you key him in 3rd and 4th in dime supers for $4.80 you get back $179
..Realize most aren't around on a monday to do that but perfectly logical strategy..missed 2nd by a head at 10-1 at parx final race ..few other good efforts mixed in there also but not in top two
