am a little concerned up for sale for 5k but factoring what she cost and what she's won not ridiculous..didn't lift a hoof last out but her 2 races prior beat this field..trainer excellent off s short layoff..sets up nice for her with a lot speed in the race

R2 #7 inside straight (3-1)
R4 #3 asperites (9-5)
aggressive placement off 2+ month layoff last out..back around level of claim two back which she won easily..weak field IMO
R5 #4 boalt hall (7-2)
big money as a yearling relative to pedigree..solid works for pletcher debuter..sire above average turf and first out
R6 #2 so clutch* (8-1)
usually don't like horse who wins sprinting stretching out vs good field like this..pedigree all day on this one..3yo bought 250k at auction as a 2yo so they must have liked him a lot
R7 #9 core portfolio* (8-1)
win early slant to pedigree including dam being a debut winner..violette one of the best at winning first out and with 2yo's..cost 125k as a yearling

6 career races..first 3 fit well here and last 3 tough assignment s..good spot here and johnny v climbs aboard..very tough bunch in here so price should be decent if we get it
dam won debut and one of her two foals won their debut which is obviously a good sign for a firster..average first out sire..solid steady works leading up to this

R1 #4 backwater (4-1)
R2 #6 alexa's spirit (20-1)
stretched out from 6.5 to 8.5 furlongs coming back in 11 days and won earlier this year..similar stretch today percentage wise
and also back in 11 days..both races ran the type of running line I like to see on a stretch out horse..usually only like to cover with 2-3 horses in exactas but in this case I'd use 2357 on top
some more later

like pedigree (distance, class) and foundation from fair hill works prior to last start..similar running line in debut last year here was followed by a just miss at bel next start
#3 memento d'oro* (20-1)
R6 #7 beyond empire (3-1)
R7 #2 flower kisser (5-1)
cost a fortune relative to pedigree..drf says "crunched between at break" in debut and ran evenly back of the pack.. switch to top jock
R8 #3 rare eagle (15-1)
has run big races at least 3 times off similar running line to last..2nd nose/2nd half/1st head..should be some needed pace up front in this one
R9 #7 willet (2-1)
probably no value price wise but tons better than these and loves this track..another who comes from way out and plenty of early zip in here..23 starts low mileage for a 7yo
R10 #2 tasnuke*(4-1) #9 folk song* (15-1)

R7 - I like the Flower Kisser pick. Also going to throw in Praying Mantis in a few exotics with the step down in class. Have both across the board. I appreciate the posts!

np pmp..not my day today but that's this game
dmr R8 #5 southeast asia (12-1)
feel this guys had a lot of legitimate excuses along the way including bad posts, placements and trips.caught a sloppy track off a 3 month layoff 2 back..feel he's capable vs these at a decent mutuel

excellent turf sire and this gal cost a lot relative to pedigree.. Ribaudo has hit with big price debuters and first time turf.. With 6 big pedigree horses from 5 big time trainers may get lost in the shuffle a bit in this field

turned a nice profit with him since 40k claim.. think last vs 50k claimers sets him up nice for this.. won big off the drop with similar line previous race two starts back
R6 #6 pop the hood* (15-1)
realize this trainer gets the C team of the very well bred broman
horses.. considering elite pedigree and trainer has big ROI stats in 4 categories including jockey/trainer think this gelding not a bad stab at a good price

prx shipper has a work over the track.. 300k yearling with classy, win early slanted pedigree..trainer's regular rider from prx rivera gets the call..by saratoga standards not the scariest bunch of horses I've seen

coming off a near 2 year layoff 2 starts back..even though he did finish near back of the pack last 2 starts feel he got some needed fitness in him from being close to the pace both times..gets off the rail and has a less than stellar bunch to go against here (as is true with most mdn clm races) ..trainer has good hit rate on turf and route to sprint.. should be plenty fit to go the 5.5f on the turf today

dmr R5 #6 korcha kid (20-1)
even effort 4 days short of a year ago as a 2yo here at dmr when it was a polytrack course.. trainer has a nice ROI overall
and big one using this jockey..unspectacular but steady works leading up to this and always upset possibilities in these maiden claimers

think she'll sit a nice trip off the 1 and 4 and have some fitness off the 2 month layoff.. 2 starts back it was a 6 month layoff
R9 #2 cosmic tale (2-1)
think with the nice foundation under her a middle distance route
at this level a good fit

really need the 2 in the first leg as the rest is kind of chalky..
thinking about $100 p4 (.50) if it hits with the 2
R6 #7 quimet (10-1)
bad post last and ran fairly well.. off track two back.. in over his head on 3 occasions at GP/kee..really feel he's capable vs this field. sullivan won twice for zito and at least one was a big price
R7 #9 depeche chat (5-1)
won and repeated off a similar running line 5/1..spotted well here shipping in from mth
R8 #6 katie's garden (4-1)
won here off a 5 month layoff last year and arrives off a 10 month break here.. followed that up with a nice effort in a listed stakes..nice work tab including two 7f breezes so feel she's ready to rumble
R9 #3 morning calm (5-1)
restricted stake, marathon distance good fit for this guy
R10 #4 break away (7-2)
nothing fancy here.. just missed last out and like the consistent
effort she has put forth in all her 6 races except on the yielding turf at kee

cost a good amount relative to pedigree although not outrageous. win early, turf, grass and stamina all there. nice 5f works leading up to this
R4 #5 interior secretary (10-1)
winner of his debut race last year ran a 91 Beyer and caught a muddy track in his second start.. like the speed to the 6f mark at a mile in his last race.. cuts back, first lasix and solid works
R6 #8 sheyne vi di levone (6-1)
cost decent amount for so so pedigree.. trainer big ROI debut and also excellent debut greater than a mile.. nice works leading up to this
