Hey Guys,

I'm new to horse betting and am interested in learning. Quick question if you don't mind. I am pretty familiar with betting football and MLB I'm not sure what type of bets you guys normally use for the racebook. I personally use BetUS, on that site you have the choice of betting Win/Place/Show , Exacta , Trifecta , Superfecta and Parlay. I know JoeyP normally gives us 4 picks per race, what is the best way to bet these 4 picks?

I have read some tutorials online and have I guess a basic understanding of how these bets work just not sure which are used most often. Thanks for any help you can provide and best of luck!

Exacta 8/693 ---> this is shorthand for asking for the 8-6, 8-9, and 8-3 Exacta bets

Just starting out, you don't want to go for the more risky bets. Get your feet wet.

when it rains around here, it freaken pours came back from my lung specialist for my results of breathing test and was told i failed it and cant get cleared at this time, so i went up to icu and see my brother and they had the room closed with like 4 people in there with him. 10 minutes later, my lung specialist shows up at his room because he was called there and i wait till i can get some answers. now my brother has breathing problems and his heart racing they gave him 6 units of plateliffs and i dont know how many units of blood. also ran into my neiborhood nun from our local church there and she kept me company till we could go in. had to scrub, put gloves and mask on to go in. not a good site. sorry but horses are the furthest thing from my mind right now. they are going to try and give me medication for the gall bladder and hope it dont turn into a emergency problem cause then we will go into surgery at big risk. no more fatty foods at all for a while
