You're still ok with me. I have no plans to attend game three as I look for your team to forth their over the top best effort in an attempt to get a victory. In the event they don't the series is over - I know not officially but even the Wings inconsistent netminders won't blow all the remaining games. Tell you right now unless the line for the first period is way off I'll probably have a first period selection - go ahead and read the thread and tell me how many period, let alone first ones, I've made this season. From your perspective, all DET did was do what they should (win the home games). Now comes the test for CBUS. Will they fold (drop both), hold serve (win both) or split? My best guess right now is they split causing them to go north to end their
season.

While PHI is the favorite, I don't see them in that role. What I see is a team that is now desperate for a win and believe that if they think they can get back in the series, they will give it all today. I do not see PIT scoring more than 3 in any circumstance and most likely they get 2 at most. If your book has a first period total option, I'd click the under (presuming it's 1') since both teams realize how important this game is and will have their "A" games in play - at least for the first twenty. I've made my money from this series so have no problems freely and openly discussing it. Good luck with your selection(s) for the game.

Three goals after twenty minutes - man was I off on that one.

The Red Wings are set up for the playoffs while during the regular season they don't have the sharpness they do currently. It takes a while for a team to learn how to win in the playoffs, with time hopefully they (CBUS) will become a stronger team. Congrats on having some seats for Tuesday and if I had to pick a team right now (for the game) it would not be DET.

Noob wanting some input on this line of thinking. I placed a bet on the SJ ANA over 1.5 goals for the first period at +120. My thinking is that if there is ever going to be a breakthrough scoring wise for SJ it is going to be here. I am hoping they are going to open it up more resulting in chances for both teams.

Is my thinking very flawed?

you need 2 goals for the first period to win that's pretty hard. You might as well take the over for the game . But I honestly don't like that bet at ALL . Just take the flyers and the under and you'll be fine

0-2-1 tonight dropping 6.00 units. Really surprised how poorly CBUS played or was it the Wings dominance crushing them? In either case I expected more. Sorry for the losing night for those who followed, won't make that mistake again (taking a sorry assed team to win).

PIT lost while the Wings won. From the looks of the rest of the game (DET/CBUS), I should have kept watching as it looked like a heavy weight battle going back and forth with the better team winning. On to round two for the Wings.
