Tough loss yesterday, BOL with your card today.

I have given up betting the heavy favorites. It just seems like the risk to reward ratio isn't sufficient (for me). I understand that the game is supposed to be a lock but when those teams lose it hurts and I have seemed to have a nack for capping those heavy favorites when they go down. I still want to look at the past season and see if one could even make money from betting the -250+.

Anyways, just wanted to say a few words and wish you the best

as i mentioned in my previous post, I too, had lost big in the weeks proceeding yesterdays game my betting heavily on favs (id had enough after washington's 5-1 loss to ATL.... and then maple leafs S/O win over capitals) so needless to say i didnt book the bet @ 1.28 or -300 as i had it ?? on red wings

a bet to win 60 unit wouldnt that require a wager of 180 units ? or (18,000) ?? or have i got the math wrong?

100% truth, I have no issues with anyone posting their action/plays/selections/wagers/other term in the thread. One of the things that I find "wrong" are the "I told you so"/"I know more than you" in my thread. While I get people have their right to their opinion, if they can't be friendly (in here), then they should make a separate thread. Just trying to keep the thread relatively clean.

What do you usually set your roll at or I guess a better question is what is your betting based off. For example, are you wagers 10% of your roll.

I suppose I should move this over to MLB but I am trying to get a good idea of what my MLB roll should look like for this season.

From my experience, it's never worth betting on anything worse than -250. If you're going to bet those games, just take the underdog each time.

Just my opinion, but betting -300, etc. is not profitable.

shaky, are you kidding me? WA was setting them up for the fall . They, WA, should have put the Islanders away much earlier when the opportunities presented themself. Since they didn't, it took longer to accomplish it. An ugly win is still a win.

Getting ready to watch the MON/BOS shortly.

Far as the Wings game went, OZZY kept them in the game the first period. It was as if he had a mini-goalie helping him with some of the saves he made. The PKers did a fantastic job. Disregard the money won from the game, they played well and if "this" team shows up nightly for their games, they are capable of going very deep in the playoffs.
