#422Good morning Hip Hip Huet,
Thank you but the Islanders nor I got a win or cash from the game. They played well enough to win but the Bruins converted more of their chances and lead the most important aspect of the game (scoreboard). Boston may take that game as a wake-up call and perform better in their next outing or it could be a sign of "mental-itis". BOL the rest of the season.Comment -

#427On paper BOS looked like a -500 favorite (maybe not that much) but you must have been very happy to have taken NYI after seeing the 1st period. BOS was sleepwalking (sleepskating) and I think underestimated NYI. They were sloppy and didn't capitalize on any oppertunities.
Besides that, BOL TA. Always await your picks.
That's funny a -500, you should realize I'd be all over the "dog" if that were the case AND I thought they had a chance to win. Yes, that first 20 minutes told me they had a chance as things were clicking (less lighting the lamp). Thanks for checking out the thread, time to go see a man about a horse shortly.Comment -

#431Good Afternoon TA. U r having a good week. So that means I am having one as well. Just popped in real quick to see what's going on. I have to bring the family home so I came to turn up the heat and get the fire department to put the car seat in correctly.
TA, I don't like to be a leech and that is what I am doing because I tail all of your picks that my book allows. I was wondering if there are any teams I should focus on to become a better capper of the NHL. I would like to contribute and also be knowledgeable enough to discuss a pick with you. I really don't know where to begin.
And I do have the NHL channel.
Well, got to go pick up the wife and my little poopsey woopsey.
PS: I ordererd the hospital pictures. If I can randomly spend fifty dollars on liquor then I can spend that on my little prince. And I bought his first book last evening from the hospital gift shop. The price? Astronomical but his first reading was priceless. And I told him TA gave me this advice. He grinned. So I guess he wanted me to extend his gratitude to you.
Now let's cash some pucks.Comment -

what i learnt so far from watching hockey -- and I dont have the channel nor do I watch it on a tv ! -- there are no "special" teams, only special teams.Comment -

#433Good afternoon Hip Hip Huet,
You do realize the first game tonight is at 7pm EST right? That's about 5 hours from now give or take a little.
If my schedule doesn't fit your timetable, sorry deal with it. When I list them here there is over 98% of the time enough time to get in on the action to either fade or follow.Comment -

Thank you.Sometimes the puck bounces the right way and sometimes not, so far this week things have gone smooth. But like anything else, take care of today and them go from there. Sounds easy, but not always to do. Since when does the fire department have to put in a car seat? They're not complicated.
While things are going well and you along with others are able to reap the rewards, keep this in mind, there will be times when I could be standing in the Atlantic Ocean with a seashell or stone, drop it and it misses the water.
One thing I would do is you watch as many games as humanly possible. The match-ups, right now, don't matter, just watch the games. Although it's tough to do at first, don't always focus your attention on the puck - opt to see other aspects of the game (line changes and how it effects the flow, who sets up in the crease and who tries to clear them, etc). After the game, write down all the winning teams stats. Do that for each game of the season. At some point, you'll see what winning and losing teams do and don't do. That will get you and others pointed in the right direction as far as what to look for in team selection(s).
Thanks but I think he just had gas.In years to come, you'll treasure those pictures and these first few days more than you can imagine right now. Soak it all in and at some point take your wife out for dinner before the Prince turns a month old - just you and her for an hour to ninety minutes (grandma or grandpa close by, they love to watch little ones) to be "alone" with JUST her. If you do this now, it's much easier later on when you want to go out for an evening (4 or 5 hours - let alone an overnight).

#440TA, thanks alot again. Cool. Once I get the little one squared away its to in front of the boob tube. One NHL game tonight for me to view. I only watch during the playoffs but its more important now. And I don't have a favorite team. I just rooted for the Rangers because I am a native New Yorker. So I don't care who wins or loses.

Let's cash some pucks.Don't get a fav or your vision will become blind - let the numbers remove your emotions from the game. Nothing wrong with cheering for a team.

#445Also try getting the tennis and AMF Bowling Pinbusters. What a workout. An hour a day for me beats the gym. Well I am never motivated to go to the gym. Golds Gym just got $1680 for a never used two year membership.

#446You know Sidney isn't playing tonight right? I already had placed my bet before this info came out.
And I have a question for you.
Do you find your own lines for the games? And if so, would you be willing to share with me how you do that? If not I understand. Just curious.Comment -
