I have the probability that this game goes over 4.5 as .725, which translates into a fair line of -264. So basically, on that bet you had a negative EV (-6.2%). It's amazing to me that this is working as well as it is. You seem like you are on the right side a lot of the time, but you are overpaying and have a -EV most plays.

I hate that game because I love it so much...every Vegas trip ends with me flying back to Chicago repeating, "I'm never playing that damn black and red ever again..."

Fact is, it's working for whatever reason, you are an adult and can join in or sit out as you please no one is forcing this system onto you.

Anyways, spank, this system falls right down my alley. An average system that is BASED off of statistics that gives the bettor the edge when it comes to probability. So many people worry "what happen when you lose, the juice will kill you", why are they betting to lose? If you found a way to move the game of hockey into your favor over 75% ... good for you pal, I'm routing for ya. So many people are traditional flat betting, take whatever spread for basically a 50/50 shot at taking a win for the night. I may not be a big timer, but in the past months alone I've taken 100-150 bucks every week or so and turned it into 1k+. Some weeks, yes, I lose my first or second juiced line.. but over all I feel more confident in my plays because I bought some sort of insurance.
