Another dilemma: Do you take Carolina now at +1.5 (-300), or do you follow the system and wait to see if they change to the favorite? Decisions, decisions.

I went with the P/l If the game is almost a tossup I would rather have a goal and a half cushion.

Plus you are paying less juice to the man

Taking the puck line you are paying 3.8% juice

-310 = 75.6% chance to win
+255 = 28.2% chance to win

75.6+28.2= 103.8 so you are paying 3.8% juice

taking the money line

-105 = 52.1%
-110 = 52.4%

52.1+52.4= 104.5 so you are paying 4.5% juice for fair odds.

It's a better deal to take the puck line

Great night, but sucks about the Carolina loss. Heavy juice on the A bet. IMO B Bet doesnt look good @ Boston. Looks like it'll go to C vs Penguins w/o Crosby, but it'll be on a back-to-back. Going to be an expensive and nail-biting series.
