Morning Wallco, You're at it early today. Thanks for the nice little sweep yesterday. I parlayed the 2 together and got an even better payday. GL

I find it amazing how playing extra units on a chase with gut feelings wins 100% of the time. Not dissing you in particular hagball52 but all who say they won extra money playing a parlay (which is a -EV gamble but feels so good when you win)

I have never heard someone brag how they thought outside the box and lost. :-)

Sorry - I just see so many people saying how they did even better but no one ever says I really screwed up and wasted money.

Can't say that I have. I've only bet 12 times all season on hockey and I've gone 9-3. Most of them have been parlays on both the wins and losses. It's been profitable. I don't play high juice plays and have gravitated away from chase betting. I pick and choose my bets from the hockey and nba threads and just do my own handicapping. I praise Wallco for all the hard work he puts in on both threads. But I just do my own thing. Not trying to boast but do appreciate a good win and giving out a thanks to Wallco. The hockey thread has been good so far this year but the nba has been a disaster for most playing the chase systems but I've done well in both. Just haven't placed near as many bets.

P.S. I do have to admit that I've gotten my ass handed to me in college bball but I'm still up for the year. If I would have avoided the college sports I would be having an awesome year.

yea - I think most playing the NBA chase are underwater now. I really was not trying to single you out hag. More frustration with my risk averse best friend that boast an amazing "virtual" record while I'm sweating out 30 unit plays and winning a shitload while he brags he's up 20 virtual units.

Hagball is a class act. However, there are others more deserving of these comments.

I'm just gonna wait until there are 2+ C bets in one day, parlay em and throw my entire life savings at it...+EV move for sure.

              I kid, I kid.

I did lose my 4th hockey bet yesterday. Once again I did a parlay with the 3 plays yesterday. Originally I was just going to play the Rangers and Dallas but got a little greedy at the last minute and put the Avs on there also and it cost me. I laid 2 units to win a little over 6 units. Still up though. My days of sweating out 30 unit plays are over. More power to the people who can do it but I really don't need that kind of stress.

Do not place any wagers on teams unless you are sure your team is the dog or favorite. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the team we are betting on. You may be overpaying for a loss if you play the P/L and should have been on the M/L, or lose a game that you would have won had you been on the (+1½) instead of the M/L. We will always play the M/L on favorites and (-110) games, and always play the (+1½) if the team we are betting on is a dog. ALL results will be based on this principle. If it is a close line game, you may want to wait til closer to game time to place your wager so you know whether or not we are on the (+1½) or the (M/L). All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, or vice versa, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines.

I'd like to remind all that are profiting from Wallco that the little gold coin is like paying him for his work (also called bribing for coming back next year). Let's keep rewarding him for increasing our books.

Do not place any wagers on teams unless you are sure your team is the dog or favorite. It might be a good read but I would never ever do anything he suggests! Sorry Jonny - now coming after YOU but this guy has been around for decades selling books. His poker books are a riot. He even has a how to win at Slot Machines book.

Every book I have on gambling (about 50) has SOME tidbit that is useful. Especially when it comes to money management which is the key to sports gambling (be conservative is a huge thing as it is the long run (lifetime)).
