You know what VAN/PHI under 4.5 really could hit. Could easily be a 3-1 final for either side. Ballsy pick my friend. Here's hoping for a 1-1 1st and then 3-1 final for VAN so we both win

Ehh, at least they made it close to the u4.5 That was an ugly game, too. The first period they made a bunch of terrible calls on the Canucks. They refs decided to even it out with a bunch of questionable calls on the Flyers in the third. Ugly ugly reffing both ways. Both teams' team defense really let me down. A decent amount of goals weren't Luongo's or Bryzgalov's fault, just horrible defensive breakdowns. And the sad thing is, both keepers bailed out their teams numerous times. Glad the Flyers won, and sorry your Nucks lost the way they did. Hope they meet in the Finals.

And sorry about the Columbus game. Johansen had a chance to go up 3-1 and miffed; there's a reason he's been a healthy scratch. And Carter miffed at an empty net just before the Hejda/Landeskog goal. And Lord knows Carter won't score in the shootout.

Anyway, do you like the Over for tonights Vancouver-Detroit game? Based on my powerful feeling of both goalies failing and that both teams are very capable of scoring ?

Yup wasn't really the goalies fault as most of the goals were PPG's. Saw the highlights of the CBJ game and wow glad I wasn't watching. Pathetic man, they are finding ways to lose this year.

Ray Emery was 6-3-1 in his first 10 for the Flyers after a long NHL layoff. He's a competent goalie who's playing in a good spot here against a horrendous Jets team. Chicago cruises tonight.

I am not so sure about Emery right now, but I think he really settles in. The Hawks also have Salak sitting an hour and a half to the North in Rockford, which will give Emery added pressure. I would rather have Salak here in Rockford for a year to develop.
