the 1st period overs have been hitting at a remarkable clip recently. with the desperation of the playoffs here, i think teams are flying right out of the gate and thinking offense first. the overs are huge plus money with a lot of these tight teams defensively like LA, PHX, NJD, NYR....

You're right +$ is a good thing in general. Lots of scoring chances in the first, was a physical chippy game which leads to lots of PPs. Shoulda been at least 2 in the first. Nothing wrong with betting the Stars not gonna criticize your bets unless you are mine. Stars just scored 1-1 now. I'm down with a 2-2 OT game

I have been playing a lot of +125 and higher 1st's lately and doing fairly well. You are right lots of playoff/fringe teams come out hard and try to take an early lead and then go into lockdown mode for the 2nd and 3rd.

Yeah it's been not bad on the hater front this year compared to last. I can't really complain as its been mostly positive people in here this year

Thanks man and yeah I'm still a bit biased towards the Canucks obviously but have been managing to lay off a lot this year and sticking to their totals instead
