Hey DG been following your thread for a long time. Great job by the way. Don't post much but I got a quick question for you. You had mentioned last week about the "over the total conspiracy." Is that the first game televised on national tv on Sunday afternoon? Is that true that most of televised games go over the total? Appreciate the info and again, great job!

Thanks man. It was the weekly NBC early game usually at 9:30 or 10:00 AM PST every Sunday last year. I swear the overs hit at around 70% at least in these games, same with the first period overs. It doesn't seem to be as significant for overs this year. I guess last year it helped when it was Washington, Chicago and Pittsburgh playing most of the time. I in turn developed the "conspiracy" that the refs were told to call a lot of penalties which would result in a lot of goals being scored.

As this would be in the best interests of the NHL as they attempted to market the game to the US and lots of goals would make it more exciting for the casual hockey fan.

Yup hope to be there by the end of February

I work at 8 AM tomorrow so I'll be up. Gonna try and sneak in some scouting for tomorrow's games tonight then confirm the goalies sometime at work and then make my plays. They will likely be last minute plays if I do like anything.

Being played outdoors it's tough to find any edge on this game. Sometimes it's best to stay away and just enjoy good old time hockey.

Anyone like the Panthers today in Long Island? Can't believe this Montoya guy can get another W for the Isles and its a short price for the Panthers. Was looking at the Over 5.5 but decided to not both with it but however I did place a medium size wager on the Panthers.

Also liking the Capitals tonight and it looks like its going to be a pretty popular bet for tonights game but it does look like the right side seeing that the Caps have handled the Pens this year.
