I still am leaning Caps in regulation. As everyone knows Crosby and Malkin are out but now Staal appears to be out as well. I just don't know who Pittsburgh expects to do their scoring.

I believe Staal is expected to go for the pen's... will see if i can find the story where I read that... still not many scoring options for them even with Staal in the lineup

I know man I thought about it by the time I was gonna bet it was like -140. Caps are just unreal under machines this year like from the highest scoring team to the 1990s Devils. They are a lot better team when they run and gun. This trap shit will bury them in the playoffs you can't ask two of the most talented Russians in the league to sit back it's just not their game.

I hear ya man but I think this might be the style that the Caps need to play to win the cup. There exciting style of lighting up the scoreboard and taking complete control of the East Conference clearly was not working for them. I know you can look at it and say "how could a style like that not be successful" but it wasn't winning them playoff series. A more defensive approach of blocking shots, back checking, and taking chances of their opportunities might just be what takes them to the cup final this year and maybe even winning the damn thing.

Nice job DG Always better to come in your thread and see all the postive talk/thoughts Everyone goes through rough stretches but if your patient and have confidence in what you do things always swing back around. The key is not to chase and have good money management as you are well aware of. I think you have changed your style slightly from first half and adjustment in strategies/thinking sometimes is the hardest thing to do. Anyways glad to see you coming back and for rest of the season.

Also, I think the Wings are starting to really heat up and play the complete game they have been missing all year. They finally have almost everyone back in full health and are doing a better job of protecting Howard by playing more responsible in there own zone. I think there is going to be some good value on there 5 game road trip starting this weekend. Like them against Sharks tomorrow, but not 100% sure there yet. Sharks are starting to make a push as of late as well.

Well said Hot Wings and you are exactly right. I changed my mind frame and my betting strategies and the results speak for themselves I have barely chased at all so far this second half (haven't really needed to most nights ). I seem to be doing best with flat betting believe it or not. GL to you as well in the second half.
