I've just started learning about the JM system and mainly read through baseball forums. From my understanding, don't you need 3 games in a row on the road for NBA and NHL. the Blackhawks only have 2 road games in a row so why are they a play? I'm assuming there is an exception and sorry if its a dumb question. just trying to learn a little about this system for all sports and you started this thread into the season so I couldn't find an explanation like I did for baseball.

The only thing that makes it a dumb question is the fact that their next 3 games are on the road: @ Detroit, @ Boston and @ Columbus. Other than that, it seemed reasonable. Better recheck your schedule.

Hey wallco I just wanted to point out that it's a lot more profitable to play the underdog ml and not ats. In this system when the underdog covers it wins at least 65 percent. I follow the system but I do it ml only with above average teams.

This is good to know. How much more profitable? Do you stay away from bad teams all together?

I honestly haven't officially tracked the difference of profitablity in units but I do stay away from weak teams. I think that since I have been playing the system in january I went roughly 15-1 playing the series ml only. Only cover that didn't result in a win was florida losing to nyr 1 0. I took the loss on florida but made so much more cause of the playout on the ml wins.

I haven't been tracking it since i am pretty busy and also cuz I follow a lot of other jm systems...

Assuming I bet 1 unit on ml underdogs or to win 1 unit when the team is favored I'm up at least 20 units since jan.

And it won.

I make that a season profit of approx 15 units, if the money lost on the single losing series was not recovered.

However, there were 22 series remaining after the loss to recover the money, so everyone playing the V1 should now be +66 units.
