in boston there was raining. i'm pretty confident that now on (at least 3 games) Montreal and Boston go under. if that game had to go over, i'm really glad it went WAAAY over. i hope our bad luck is spent for some time. good day
P.S. give me back my points! hehehe, just kidding.

Dont you kinda feel like we should just make some plays? It looks like it is gonna be another night without any bets on S1.
I feel like the Kings could get it done tonight @ the battered Pens. I feel like it's been ages since we've had a play. Im sure we played tons of these when the thread first opened and had tons of luck. Im just gonna continue tracking this stipulation-free.
PLAYS FOR THURSDAY FEB 10:
System1: Los Angeles Kings +Ev.
S1 YTD: 12-11, +3.1u
System2: New York Islanders +180.
S2 YTD: 11-17, +2u
don't forget to tip your waitress.

System 2 wins again! Should have stuck to my rules for tonight for S1, haha.
That LAK PIT game was a total trap. Look around.
S1 YTD 12-12, +2.10u
S2 YTD 12-17, +3.80u.
How the hell is it possible that playing the worst +# on the list is the more profitable than playing the best 'dog team (based on the standings) with/without stipulations.
This s2 is nuts.

I've thought about that too, here's what i'm thinking. Possibility of fixing games going on, it would be easy in the NHL, all you have to do is get a goalie or a ref aboard. I'd be willing to bet that at sometime in his career Khabibulan was dirty and fixed a game or two. Or big dogs just get pissed off knowing that likely they have nothing to play for but draft picks and they "get up" for good teams, while at the same time the good teams might be thinking something like, tonight we are playing the team in the cellar we can ease up and save some energy for our next game against a divisional opponent. It could be an anomaly, or it's just shit happens, because after all they are all pros, so any given night they have the ability to play at a higher level then their opponent depending on circumstances. I would think it would be one or more of those things in no particular order.

It's weird because it's hockey...it's always competitive. I mean, the best team in the league only has a winning % of 63....so not many teams have high winning percentages. And even if the biggest dog is the worst team that day...all you need is a hot goalie and you can hang with anybody.

i noticed that this kind of sh1t iz more often in NHL than in any other league. i was guessing that was because of balanced teams, and best team meeting worst has less chance of winning than in e.g. KHL or Czech 1st or Finish 1st. but now when i read respective posts above my own i start to question my beliefs

Sorry to be off subject,
I'm doing a test in basketball with the system 1...taking the dog with the most wins and playing them to cover the spread. So far 10-0 with a three game chase and 10-3 straight-up, if anyone was interested.
