Very disappointing performances from in particular, the Blue Jackets and Canucks. Had they won, night would've been good. As it is, a couple more units lost, but we are still rolling in heaps of profit.

Time for some weekend poundage. This league's gotten more unpredictable as the playoffs approach and teams are becoming more and more desperate. The dogs have not been as reliable lately, so bear that in mind for the next few weeks.

Working on a great weekend, hope to get off to a good start tonight!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Just like the Canucks are bound to win two in a row sooner rather than later, and I am going to continue backing them despite the letdowns lately, for the same reason that they are too good to be this inconsistent for a long period of time!

The weekend is generally a good time to tail me as we have seen in the past anyways

Yep, I can't deny this one hurts. Detroit yesterday, and the Caps today. It just rubs it in when they go and win it in the first minute of OT. The ML odds were dreadful though, and I thought if they were gonna win, it was gonna be in regulation. Often the regulation bets do pay off but sadly on the big play today it didn't.

Even though they are smaller bets, it would be nice if my Vancouver and Nashville plays hit, even if just for a psychological boost to get the new week started. I'm already focusing on how I can bounce back tomorrow. The 3 games Monday night are tough to call and tight so I won't be putting much on tomorrow, it'll probably be a case of holding fire until Tuesday night's games.

But I'm determined to rebound and pick myself up again. It's been a tough time lately and lost some good money but by no means cleaned out. Time for some slow and steady rebuilding and get that bankroll back up to nice and big figures

As a general note, Stay positive, boys and girls, when you take a nasty loss like I did today on Washington. And don't start feeling sorry for yourself either and start cursing bad luck or other such nonsense. Self-belief is so important in life, and without a doubt applies to long-term betting even when the occasional rough period arrives.

"Self-pity is the drug of quitters"..

The books better prepare to be pounded, and in doing so, we'll return to doing what we do, which is just that. The difference between a long-term loser and square and a long-term winner and sharp is what they do when the going gets tough. The degen will channel their anger in to putting even bigger money on stupid plays, the winner will take it slow and steadily and use the anger and motivation in to using the next week to recover and rebuild slowly and get back to the usual winning ways.

Nicely written. Reading it helps to remind oneself of those facts he already knows so well. No doubt you´re gonna bounce back.. there are always some losses and setbacks after winning series... What´s left after that is our profit, that´s what shows how good or bad we actually are Also, you gotta take into account that it´s very difficult part of the season right now.
